Re: New trend of IC
How come you have top families in MW, 95 and 97 per example, 01 made the offer but was declined. To pay 400ish planets to avoid a war? Where is the desire to fight?

Diplomacy and strategy. Picking and choosing your battles is the key to success. Fighting everything that comes along and you'll end up like 6403. ![]()
its to save their rounds and avoid the demoviation of the after kill u know.. when ur raping a fam and u dont have the will or the interest to fight back.. if they can just pay 400 or so by like 2-3 days its easier
i agree with Noir. where has the competitive spirit gone?:/ fams are just playing Imperial Explo nowadays.
Part of the problem is the system amount. Being able to explore constantly actually becomes annoying when your at 700% OB for example.

wrong! we fought everything that came along and we won PW70 ![]()
Yes Render, and your fam probably had more than 1 attacker also, and if they didn't, that only attacker wasn't me! ![]()
best comment I've seen thus far (from another thread) - "imperialconflictresolution"
lol

I disagree. There might be some occasions where this matters, but I would think its fun to fight the absolute top fam. For example, being in 95's position vs my fam would be the most fun war ever. Because there is always a chance we mess up or get outplayed and than they can take the upperhand. But paying 450 planets? seriously its more work to sort all those out than to actually just lose 400 in a war. I'd rather lose em all than to have to waste time gathering them together lol.
btw Arby, which fams do u have to fight now? I cant see that you have any threaths left, so your statement makes no sense really. 88 war would have been THE war for your fam this round, and it would have been that outcome to proves how good you really are.
ppl need to start being more aggressive. Its getting boring to play. I offered 95 to pay us 450 planets because I was certain they would decline, and instead they snap accepted =/
I have to agree with Zidi, planetcount is too unimportant when u can always explorre
And i really cannot phantom why the #2 fam in the galaxy should be paying the #3 fam to avoid a war so bad.
JUst like I can't fathom why 95 would jump at paying 450p's
Well the reason 88 and 97 canceled their war is probably since 93 and 95 canceled theirs and ofc a smart move since if 95 and 93 infrawhored instead of warring and 88 and 97 wasted their resourcers on war we all know what would happen to them. Not that i dont think it will happen anways but this way their have a better shoot
Think all off them wanna see who 93 plans to hit next i know i do ![]()
97 and 93 have a pnap so 97 can only be scared of 95.. are they gonna dodge that war with paying 400 planets aswell?
Savings mean too much in cancel wars, and behind savings there is usually an awesome Eco...
If you can get away with paying for a NAP straight up to buy your survival just to try trump another fam on savings then there is not so much of a loss and a drop in rankings.
Its the fam that cancels the NAP that shouldnt allow it to happen. But likewise, 400 free planets then able to use those savings on someone else can guarantee an early victory.
I agree somehwat with you POley, waring costs too much economic damage, not only in attacks and ops, but in foregone growth
is it only about the EOR ranking? All i care about is having a fun round and what is more fun that winning a war?? ![]()
Well aparently its not even about EOR rank either, cause if u look at 97, where will they be after giving away 400 planets? #7....
Didnt you guys cancel the war with 95? Or is that still on?
Poley I disagree. Somewhere along the line we have to start warring eachother and not think in terms off " what's more profitable" this isn't RL. We need more wars, there is nothing nicer than winning when your underdog.
Noir, we fought 95 early on (like we did with your fam) and have a pnap with them too. No planets paid ![]()
Our decision to not fight the war with 88 was easy for both sides - it was clear that you intended to infrawhore instead of fight 95. Once 88 realized that, they decided that rather than waste their resources fighting a battle that would tear both sides apart, they might as well try to infrawhore too. That way, if you cancel on them the last week of the round, they at least have a chance to save as much as you.
Don't worry about us - we still have a few targets ![]()
WHat you are saying makes no sense Oxy... You say that 88 was scared of us, so with them being under pressure you decided to help them and give them 400 planets for no war? What a joke haha, that a logical flaw.
And for your personal excuse, you paid the huge amount of 400 planets to receive humiliation and avoid a war only so you get the chance of farming smaller fams?
Its just completely sad whatever way you look at it...
