Exactly Yell,  Forget about the bill - look at the ruling.  The Federal Government can now tax you for not buying something.  Who would of thought during World War II - instead of asking people to buy war bonds the Federal Government could of just told you that you had too.  Just think, instead of the stupid government giving tax breaks to people who buy an electric car, they can now just force a tax those who don't own one.

If I take an axe to a mail box, I will get arrested, I can't be ordered to confess, I have to be indicted or taken before a judge for a preliminary hearing, I get a free lawyer, I get a trial, and then if I'm found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, ordered to pay a $10,000 fine.

I think you're confusing it with the Fourth Amendment Exclusionary Rule, which says that if a trial court, the final arbiter of truth, learns facts through an unauthorized search, it will forget it knows those facts, and declare the Truth to be something false.

I'm working on the language.  Probably something like  "Compelling self-incrimination for administrative punishment without due process is prohibited by the Constitution."  I think that covers it but then I have to get it to fit the form.

No, you are exempt to the $1,000 tax.  You just have to fill out the 1077-IC mod form and verify your mod credentials to get your exemption.

There is unforuntatly a $2,000 tax penality for being a mod.  The government figures if you put up with ICer's then putting up with being screwed for a few thousand bucks shouldn't bother you.
