Yes it is three days early but the pundits have reasoned it out smile

Though votes will need tallied Pundits have determined Roberts has not written a majority opinion in two months and that he has seniority. They did a breakdown of who has done majority opinions and determined it can only be Roberts, Thomas or Sotomayer. Since if they won the other Liberals (with more seniority) would want this ruling and since Thomas is far more Conservative than Kennedy so he would tend to write an opinion Kennedy could not agree to.


Ergo Roberts is the writer of the Majority Opinion.

Now I still expect a 6-3 ruling and I expect at least the mandate to die. I do NOT expect the whole bill to die however.

The conclusions are, for a amateur watcher of SCOTUS (3 years now), actually really well reasoned out and sound.

Btw the Unconstitutional declarationn was from CNN posting early on accident.

The States can choose to implement this or not. So the mandate applies to States wanting Obamacare.

States can opt out of spending for Obamacare (Obamacare forces States to take bill later) which means Federal Government will be stuck with bill

Roberts said in the ruling it is not a mandate it is a tax.

The House is supposed to write taxes then the Senate approve.

The Senate made this 'tax' then the House approved.



All that happened is the ball got punted til after the election. Game Over. They ruled it a tax, and the Senate cannot make taxes! WE WON AFTER ALL!

To clarify... all anyone has to do when the tax happens is sue.

Instantly 7 out of the 11 Court of Appeals will invalidate ObamaCare. This will expedite it to SCOTUS. This will even force Liberal Judges to vote for it to be unconstitutional (It is very clear, very unavoidable).

We are talking in the future a 8-1 or a 9-0 ruling against Obamacare!

From what I read it says that penalty payments if you have no healtcare insurance can be treated as a tax. Since Constitution allows such a tax its not the job of the court to rule if its good or not.

Yeah that is what that shithead wrote. 

But since our Bill of Rights says you can't be marched in front of a Colonel, ordered to confess you are guilty, and then issued a fine based on your declaration...the idea the government could do the exact same thing, BY MAIL, just MIGHT be something you'd think was up to the Supreme Court to decide...
