I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Haha, don't knock 97, that other popper is Zarf, and he's doing great as per Zarf standards.

As for attacker nw, yeah, I'm big, but only because I'm too lazy to disband quick haha. Slow disbanding ftw! Teaching my fleet how to starve to death slowly. I believe even if I did demo 6mill nw worth of fleet, we'd still be #2 fam nw. tongue

Mathematically, it's impossible for you to claim that a government could not increase its revenue in the long-term by raising taxes from 0% to 1% because since taxes in a 0% tax rate world=0, an increase to 1% (i.e., the adoption of a tax) would need to immediately crash the economy.  Because that's obviously not the case, the alternative explanation is that taxes exist in a Laffer Curve system (i.e., there is a tax rate somewhere at which point tax revenue would be maximized, with overall tax revenue being lower with either a lower or higher tax rate).

That being said, TOs operate in this exact same sense, in that beyond a certain percentage rate (25% for CFs, variable for LQ bankers), raising overall tax collection creates an inefficient return on investment.  So yes, what you describe is modeled in the Tax Office system.  tongue
