Re: An examination of Knox v. SEIU Supreme Court Ruling

At first I was to tired to comprehend the fullness of this ruling.

It seemed pretty narrow with just special assessments. But I was wrong.

The ruling also created a required "Opt in" for any funds that will become political donations. This is huge. Even though it is on Special Assessments this can lead to another decision indicating Unions cannot forcibly collect dues for use in political campaigns... The door is clear to see now.

Imagine if a lawsuit succeeds... The Unions will be unable to raise any political capital.... AT ALL.

As it is... Obama is asking for more money than the Unions have on hand... They were going to issue Special Assessments to gather the rest of the funds.

Requiring Opt In means they wont raise those funds.

Obama just lost about $150 million dollars in forced donations with this ruling.

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)

Re: An examination of Knox v. SEIU Supreme Court Ruling

What's also telling is that 2/4 democrat justices concurred with the result. Die unions die!

Re: An examination of Knox v. SEIU Supreme Court Ruling

What's scary is that 2 didn't. What a shock that communist Obama, who studied subversion of law, appointed the illiterate and lawless bull-dyke Kagan.
