Re: Proof Obama is fail

Well, this week makes it official. The weakest economic recovery since World War II has become weaker still, sinking into a spring slowdown for the third year in a row. Are we finally ready to debate a change in the policies that have led to this pass?

On Thursday the government reported that growth in the first quarter was 1.9%, even weaker than the 2.2% initial estimate. Then Friday delivered the third slower jobs report in a row, which qualifies as a depressing trend. Employers created only 69,000 net new jobs in May, and April's total was revised down to 77,000 jobs. Stocks were crushed in the backwash.

The jobless rate of 8.2% marks more than three years of unemployment at or above 8%, despite an economy that ostensibly emerged from recession in July 2009. Few industries outside of manufacturing (up 12,000 in May and up by a robust one-half million since January 2010), transportation and health care saw job growth.

The rare good news is that the overall labor market expanded with 642,000 new entrants, and the labor force participation rate rose to 63.8% from 63.6% in April. This means that more workers have re-entered the job market, perhaps because they believe they can find a job or because their 99 weeks of jobless benefits have finally run out. The bad news is that 63.8% is still about two percentage points

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)

When a republican president is in office: The economy sucks, but it's the previous president's fault, we're seeing his actions just now.
When a democrat president is in office: The economy sucks, and it's the current president's fault, we're seeing his actions right now.

Don't know the latest update on Obamas term, but this is the statistics at least

Re: Proof Obama is fail

this "recovery" is the weakest since the great depression, Truman Nixon Reagan Clinton Bush saw recovery of 3% a year, some quarters 6%
we haven't seen that and we won't while the govt hates oil, profits and the lack of unprecedented benefits

The core joke of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is that of course no civilization would develop personal computers with instant remote database recovery, and then waste this technology to find good drinks.
Steve Jobs has ruined this joke.

Re: Proof Obama is fail

I'm confused. You seem to think Romney is very different than Obama.

Both parties agree that the fed should rape the Amerikan people annually.

Both parties agree that tax law should be atrociously complex so that loopholes can be purchased and placed in without much attention.

Both parties agree that the federal government should either be outlawing or providing various bedroom and pregnancy services--For or against, they all want the federal government involved.

Both parties agree that you should be monitored and even held prisoner for an indefinite amount of time without a warrant. Both parties agree that bailouts are good for getting bribes and campaign cash, so they're desirable.

Both parties agree that you, Amerikan citizens, are stupid and should be talked to like dumb children.

Both parties agree that Amerika should send its young men and women to die to meddle in foreign affairs, though the Amerikan politicians running such efforts have historically and consistently proven they're far too inept to achieve any desirable results anywhere--ever.

Both parties agree that social welfare programs are best designed to buy votes, not to help people.

Both parties agree that social welfare programs are best designed to buy votes, even when it comes to encouraging negative and unhealthy behaviors.

Both parties agree that you should be taxed heavily, with only slight equivocation on the exact rates by a few % debated.

I'm not seeing the drastic differences which result in Romney being this awesome president who fights corruption and fixes our tax laws. I agree he'll be considerably less bad than Obama, but he's hardly a desirable candidate. Even on issues like the bedroom police where you want him to to protect you from your closet homosexual behavior, he's just paying your views lip service to con you out of your vote; he just changes his position to whatever polls well at the moment. He's not going to take actions on issues which the country is relatively evenly split over. That'd lose votes.
