"You have done well, Brother-Captain... But now we must move quickly, and reach our brothers adn sisters of the Imperium, still inside the city. Let us go." Tyrael nodded as the Apothecary spoke and together they lead the convoy on speed bikes, every once and a while encountering enemies which were quickly slaughtered.

Less then twenty minutes later teh Templars reached the final base of the Guard and prepared for the strike against the Chaos-held hangar.

"The bulk of their force is cultists, but the Marines will prove a challenge... They have heavy defenses, so I have ordered our remaining ships in orbit to begin a bombardment of the surrounding area. If we do not succeed in our attempt to retake the battle cruiser, I fear we may have to destroy the entire hangar. May the Emperor be with us." The Apothecary said to the Templars at the end of their prayer service. Then the Templars mounted up and finished last-minute preparations for the assault.

Within an hour the convoy was moving, the Thunderhawks circling high above, hidden in the clouds. Tyrael felt excitement brewing inside of him. Finally the chance to prove himself and redeem the name of the Black Templars to the Emperor. He daydreamed about crushing the cultists, which would be a cakewalk, but he had never been in direct combat with a Chaos traitor. He pondered how their screams would sound, and how their blood would flow from wounds.

"Damn those Sisters! I made it entirely clear, Commissar, that all Imperial forces are to stay in defensive positions until we retake the hangar or I dispatch new orders!" The Apothecary yelled into the radio. "If you continue to fail me, I will have you replaced Commissar, and if the Sisters give you any trouble... Report them to me immediately."

Tyrael finished his prayers and stood up. The vehicles were in combat formation, dreadnaughts eyeing the sky, while speed bikes scouted ahead. The Apothecary had gone with the scouts, leaving Tyrael and the other Captains in charge. Captain Raynor walked up to him.

"Brother-Captain, are we ready to move out?" The Terminator Captain said gruffly.

"Yes, Brother. We can begin our advance immediately. Any word from our Brothers in the sky?" Tyrael answered, putting on his helmet and gathering his weapons.

"They have made contact with the Holy Fleet, a few skirmishes have been fought with Tau ships, but for the most part the two fleets are staying away from each other. They also have reported that the Tau advance has ground almost to a halt, which should aid us in the coming days. They tried to make an aerial attack on the hangar, but the defenses were stronger then the Guard reported. One of our Thunderhawks was blown apart, two took moderate damage." The Terminator answered as they both entered a nearby Land Raider. Within moments, the ramp lifted and the vehicle began to move forward.

"May the Emperor be with us, Brother. We will need all the help we can get to retake the hangar, if we fail, I shall see you in the next world." Tyrael said and the Terminator nodded. They both sat down across from each other and waited, listening to the constant thunder of engines as the convoy advanced.

"Chaos filth!" Someone shouted and Tyrael climbed up ontop of the Land Raider. Then entire convoy sprayed bolter rounds into the surrounding buildings. The second Predator turned and fired on the house, which was reduced to debris. Tyrael saw Captain Raynor jump out of the Land Raider. He gathered three squad of marines, then charged into an adjacent house, after the Chaos.

"Keep the convoy moving, Brother-Captain Raynor will use his vox to contact us when he is finished." Tyrael yelled to the surrounding drivers. The convoy continued to move forward, now much more alert. Assault squad used thier jumpjet packs to move from building to building, making sure they were clear. Suspicious buildings became host to several squads of marines, or were simply destroyed as the convoy continued towards the hangar.

"After them!" Captain Raynor yelled, they couldn't get a clear shot, but could see glimpses of Chaos marines as they fled. Finally a Chaos Marine tripped. Raynor raised his storm bolter and unleashed a fury of bolter rounds upon the Chaos Marine. The fifteen marines behind him, also opened fire and within moments the Chaos was dead. The rest of the Chaos turned to face the Templars and for a brief moment the two groups looked eachother in the eyes. Then Raynor charged forward and was met by the biggest of the Chaos marines. As they clashed, gun fire exploded across the house. Templars and Chaos marines exchanged bolter rounds and some of them engaged in hand-to-hand combat.

For several minutes the battle raged. Templar after Templar, Chaos after Chaos, marines began to fall. The largest of the Chaos finally kicked out, nailing Raynor in the chin and sent him sprawling. The Chaos marine ran, shouting to all fo his men to flee. The Templars chased them out of the building, fired after them and returned to their leader.

"Destroy my armor... Do not let them take it..." Raynor said, then died. The Templars bowed their heads and prayed softly to the Emperor before setting charges on the Terminator suit. All but four Chaos marines lay dead, along with ten Templars. The survivors grabbed the Storm bolter and left. They detonated the charges and raised the convoy on a vox.

"We have slain most of the Chaos, but their lascannon slew several of our Brothers. Captain Raynor has fallen."

"we have our orders ,now do them !!!!!!!!" Zangus shouted at his men.
He saw the enemies before him
the damned imperial soldiers before them could whipe them out in one blow.
"Alright assemble all the marines."
theorder was given and the marines assembled.
"We have no chance of victory against them.Prepare to destroy the scanner and the ship. However do not remain inside blastradius of the explosion.I want you lot to rendezvous with roderik."
"Sir thenwhat shall you do?"
"I will stay with the cultist i shall die trying to defend it.And i shall try to challenge their commander."
every marine nodded and accepted the orders.
Zangus took his powersword and kissed it .
"Well tremor, it seems we will probably have ourlast battle one of these day's."
He saw a cultist walking .
"You there , come over here."
the cultist came to him and was ready to recieve orders.
"You shall remain by my side the entire fight.If i die ,destroy my body and armour.and take my powersword to Roderik with the marines.Got it!!"
" Yes sir!!!"

The eldar had cloaked their ship in order to remain at full stealth.The commanderof theship was Autarch Caledor.An eldar with vast expierence in warfare against the Monkeigh.But now he had a new challenge before him. Now he had to disable a warpgate right on the battlefield where the Monkeigh and the tau where fighting.

"Land the ship there , on the outskirts . and make it fast so that those wretched alienswont capture us." Caledor said to the warlock flying the frigate.
He simply nodded and executed the manuevre.An other man approached the autarch.It was Ylias, the farseer who had given the order of disabling the warpgate.
they looked at each other and a momentof silence broke out on the bridge.
"So we are here already?Any problems on the way here commander?"Ylias broke the silence.
"No not really.But i have 2 points to make."
"Which are ?"
"Point 1 we are very lucky that the yngir on this planet haven't awoken.As you now this planet was swarming with them.And point 2 we're unlucky cause this planet is crawling with Monkeigh."
"Both of them I know commander."The farseer answered calmly.He looked at the radar screen.He pointed at the site where it said tau encampment.
"With them we can talk.If we can convince them the Monkeigh are evil and not willing to join the greater good , well their greater good not ours, they will do as we say." the farseer stated.
" You have to much faith in these aliens.They are mere shadows of our greatness."
The xenophobic Caledor replied.
"Well that maybe so .But you need only concern that our mission goes uninterupted."
"Very well Farseer. Thy will be done"
