Can you block it every 10 ticks or something like that to indefinitely block someones portal? I know if you try to block a portal after it's already blocked you auto-fail.

BUT if you are successful, and then 11 ticks later do it again (the tick before the portal ACTUALLY gets blocked), can you keep the portal blocked even longer?

no

if the portal is blocked you will fail
if the portal is in process to be blocked you will fail

if you want to block a portal permanently you better sabotage it.

its not possible to block it with perm with spells, you can try to block it again after 22 tics (12 of process + 10 blocked) but then he has 12 more tics with it unblocked

You now get messsages telling you if there's no portal or if the portal currently has a forcefield so if you fail you are really failing!

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. I don't see how IP would be relevant to my question at all. In the Faq it says nothing about telling you if the portal is FF'd....

"Investigate Portal: Your agents try to investigate if there is any presence of a portal on the target planet, either fully working or still under construction."

the Faq has some parts out of date yes, mods will have to change that

IP tells you the portal is blocked when it is blocked, but doesnt tell anything when the portal is about to be blocked, and it shouldn't, agents are not future tellers.

Why would you want to force-field your own planet?

The key here is to make it yours while the portal is down the first time. wink
