Well my research on half the work I want is done... my Dental work will cost me about $4,000 in Thailand, compared to $24,000 in the United States. Not only that but the work in Thailand will be color matched and stronger bridge materials.

I assume there will be comparable savings on Lipo as well so this might be another $2000 or so.

Toss in airline cost, hotel (not staying cheap when my health is the reason) and extra costs I might be out $7500 or so at most and come back ready to rumble after 10 days or so.

So I was thinking... why are people so objectionable to another nation using their low currency value (natural versus the unnatural Chinese vdrsion) to bring in tourists including medical tourists to gain more money? I know a lot on the left hate this practice... but it is an effect of a free market choice...


I just don't get the objections... mind filling me in?

Hmmmm, I have submitted inquiries about lipo and dental to some clinics in the Philippones now.

The good news about that is I am learning Tagalog so it would be nice to hear it spoke in natural settings!

And this is medical tourism not socialized healthcare versus free market Arfeh.

Ilu your efforts to troll me are over. No depression, no anxiety... your fun is over.

The reason is my job is hard on the body... sitting and laying down so much.

Arfeh... it takes a lot longer to come back however and when I get it removed I plan to implement a truckers excercise plan and diet. I need the current weight removed since it makes my injuries more pronounced.

Actually all I have seen is positive work and comments. I will not go to a cheap place and take a chance, but instead some place with proven results.

Seems good in theory, but i'd be very careful on where you go.

Buts it up to you if you feel the risk is worth taking. I don't know your financial status nor the general American income. There is a rich echelon of people in both thailand and phillipines who would need the required work, so the places will exist. Its just a matter of finding them.
