personally i think if it doesn't DIRECTLY physically harm or deny them of their property it isn't anyone else's business, that means thow i am not gay, i couldn't care less who is, and what they do, as consenting adults... as far as drugs... if an idiot wants to kill them self with heroin, crack, or meth so be it, just a healthy dose of cleaning the gene pool as far as i am concerned... less idiots eating up my ssi.

He backed off because he cannot win.

Simon I am very careful about the rules. A mod once abused me relentlessly for weeks until I got other mods to create a real rule set... and I became the lawyer of those rules to prevent a return of the abuse.
Using ones powers to prevent dialogue. It was disgusting.
So I am careful not to get another week long ban for a crap reason.

The rules here:
1) A thread off the front page can be deemed dead, a thread off the second page. To fourth page may be brought back if only very recent, but only if circumstances warrant. The recovered thread needs to be 'pure'. Aka if it is already spammed up (like this thread is) with a lot of off topic recovering it is not allowed. It will be closed
2) Each thread must be of a seperate issue entirely. You can use different guides about this, for instance examining Obama's energy policy is entirely different than his immigration policy. However if I made a thread covering all of his policies, so long as it is alive.. I cannot post a new thread singling out. A policy
Exception to that rule is if the subtopic is demonstratably hijacking away from the main topic.
3) The topic must be about a real world issue and have a political aspect, this can be demonstrated later in a thread... it need not be demonstrated in the first post
4) you cannot post a url and not include opinion or something about it. A url alone is not enough. At times a sentence or two can work but I got threads blocked for less than a paragraph under the one mod.
5) the thread cannot be a deliberate attack on another person. You can call them out, you can nay say their ideals, you can mock a bad ideal of theirs, but a pure attack is a no no.
I had a page worth of posts blocked on two pages and got blocked. I am very careful to prevent the abuse of a mod again.
then i say block everyone of his post MODS, cause he directly insults everyone's intelligence with the crap he post.. and who has 18 threads on the first page of a forum topic???? no one i have ever known in IC did that unless it was spam.

no, i am not a libertarian... i do not follow any political affiliation... i am just against the stupidity that people expose of themselves... and i don't want to shut anyone up (like you do) but i would like people when asked a straight question to answer it straight... not the road blocking that you do by saying "that is not what this post is for" that tells me that you are avoiding something that proves that you are a hack.
There is one more usual rule here.
If a topic is 'hijacked' and is off topic, with attacks (aka what Cougar is doing) the thread gets closed by a mod.
