This seems to be rather accurate for me I think....

I'm starting to think this test isn't necessarily an American-leaning test or a European-leaning test... it could simply be wrong.  tongue

Why? Because I am comparable to Stalin?

Re: The Political Compass!

No, because I'm noticing that both Europeans and Americans are claiming the system is based on the political system of the other.  In particular, I find the European claim  that the poll is based on the American system relatively odd considering the author says that the American system is way far to the right/authoritarian end of the spectrum.

Re: The Political Compass!

Given that they use English spelling for words I'm going to guess they're English.

So therefore neither American OR European! tongue

Also considering they have a whole page on English political parties, yet no equivalent for American or Europeans... yeah.  smile

Eh I didn't take the test; I did it about 2 years ago so I don't remember the questions.

And because I was bored, I compiled the list.  Below, you will see the same chart, with the results from everyone who has given their results, so you all know who your friends are.  tongue

I'll update this as people add their names.  If WFS lets me, I would edit the OP to add the compilation there.  smile

Re: The Political Compass!

old old old joke about commie brothers in USA and one decides to emigrate to USSR and the other brother says write me how things are and if it's bad use red ink and if its good use blue ink.  Write a good letter but use red ink if it's bad and I'll know you're lying

so the brother gets a letter in blue ink:

Everything is fine here.  I was met by a settlement officer once I arrived and I had my own apartment the same day.  The next day I got a factory job.  I have plenty to eat and am guaranteed a Black Sea vacation this summer.  There's only one thing about Russia I don't like: you can't buy red ink
