One of many articles citing a Left Coast State, named Oregon, as being up for grabs. In 2008 Oregon evenly SPLIT (30/30) the House of Representatives for the first time. Polls indicate Oregon will have a majority of Representatives in the House and have a good shot at winning the Senate.

Democrats here are feeling the Wu effect where they are being painted as Radicals with delusions and tainted histories. Republicans are feeling motivated and are pushing hard. A new GOTV and Campaign Software system is being rolled out to assist Republican Candidates against Democrats.

Even in Portland hope is happening. Why I was approached briefly (before I explained I had no time for it) for a position of authority inside the Multnomah County Republican Party. People are gathering tools, funds, coordinating, and volunteering. Stepping up is now the new game here.

Democrats are also suffering a high number of retirements this cycle which is leaving more than the usual number of seats without an incumbent.
