If extreemist groups choose to support a candidate that is not really his fault. Noone would make a fuzz if KKK choose to support Republicans, as that would simply be expected.
Out of HIllary, McCain and Obama, Obama is probably the one with the least controverisal stand on most of things, and i dont see a reason why paranoid ppl such and Mike Harrington would even try to make a horror scenario of him.
He is not a socialist, a terrorist or a KKK . In any other western countries, people would not be checked for weapons etc before a rally or protest of that sort, and so perhaps the neocons should ask themselves what wrong, US attitude towards guns and violence, or Obamas attitude towards his own safety. Perhaps Obamas stance on Education and Healthcare for everyone, decent minimum wages, decent life for even the weakest americans is not creating as many enemies and Bushs stance on Tax cuts for the rich, invading other countires etc. Thats something to consider
