No tick happened anywhere for some reason, though i suspect, like last time this happened, that next tick 2 ticks will pass.. or
if missed, three ticks in one tick the tick after..
im not gonna say tick again.

so are you saying CFs come in 6 tics and not 5 ???? damn fix this, it completely ruins my fams startup, because the guy suposed to build cannot stay online 1 extra tic 
yup we have same problem render, it cocks up alot of people starts i bet, just reset the gal and start it again 2morrow x(

no, it's not semi-fair, if I'd know before 1 tic were missed I coulda do that job myself because I can stay online longer, but that job was assigned to another and he CANNOT be online 1 more tic than expected. IT is UNFAIR and it completely disbalances the competition (failing to explo+build this early)
I know this can be fixed manually because it happened several times, the problem is ..what mod is online to manually arrange it?? or is this not important at all?
they will have to do it soon if they do it. Dont want them to catch up the tick without enough time to do the exploring this tick
I am not sure what you mean by mods being able to "fix" this. If we had a perfect solution we would have done so already.
ehh im sure there is a line of code in charge of making the tick update happen
assuming there is a cronjob triggering u should be able to manually acces it.
i vote for a reset btw! restart day after tomorrow same time. give everyone a fair shot again.

well my strat gone to hell, tryme couldnt stand online for the extra tic so we have no ressies for tomorrow basically, we're screwed, but I don't mind if they dont reset I go on playing, we've waited too much for this shit, a reset now is not the best hoenstly 
You could have had your banker explore some ressie bonus planets and build accordingly. Unless Tryme was the banker who was exploring
Of course pain, but at the time I heard about this problem it was already 1 tick later and if we just did a manual tick in the middle of another tick it would have been messy too. Just saying there isn't just a fix.

why? now this is absurd, are you saying you could of bring it back to normal timing and you decided that would be messy? how is normal tic advance messy? I dont get it, you purposely let a bug stay because the normal thing is messy in YOUR opinion.
lol Render, you cant just revert a bug without telling ppl in advance. Ppl adjust, they move on! Just cos it doesnt suit a few, there is no reason to keep screwing up the ppl who adjust to the missed tick.
This shit happens nearly every round, not that thats an excuse, but you should have some sort of flexibility because of shit like this.
So we should do things because you want it Render? Having responsibilities means you have to make decisions and it is important that you know what consequences your decisions hold.
In this case. Passing the tick manually would do much more than just "fixing a bug". One simple example; Let's say we skipped the tick and someone was in the middle of exploring and now half his e-ships landed which means he has to pay 10x as much to send out the rest.
Try thinking before jumping to conclusions.
Just restart it for 17:00 today. It's not a difficult solution, the only people that will moan are ppl that took full advantage of the 2 missing ticks
or all the peaople who miss todays start date

btw Noir its curious how you always get advantage of any failure in the game, it happened with the crazy market round also, do you have a cristal ball or waht?
