Where is Garrus at the moment?
Nordok's second moon, but he's not using official channels, so until he goes to Nordok you won't be able to contact him. You could just say that he is on Nordok Prime, i don't care, but if you just want to leave a message thats fine ![]()
I was bored, but not enough to write a full part. So here's an artifact we might use someday.
Name: Calias' Hand.
Type: Handgun.
Physical appearance: Heavy, blocky, forged from black steel alloy; glows with a red aura in the presence of magic or spiritual entities.
Weight: 10 kg.
Ammunition: 14x50mm custom rounds.
Magazine capacity: 5.
Description: Calias' Hand is an artifact discovered on Squire III. A heavy handgun, few humans have the physical strength to comfortably handle this weapon. It fires special ammunition unique to the weapon. The cartridge itself, a 14x50mm pistol cartridge, is impressive on its own; however, certain units of ammunition, found along with the weapon in the initial discovery, has been observed to glow bright red in flight and disturb the life patterns of highly spiritual observers, even without a direct hit. Such "blessed" ammunition is extremely rare; though the weapon itself can enhance any cartridges that remains loaded for long periods of time, the process is slow. During testing, many of the testers who handled the weapon reported dizziness, headaches, unusual bursts of anger, and a peculiar sense of being watched or possessed by extradimensional entities; the weapon should not be handled for extended periods of time under any circumstances, even by a trained firearms expert, due to the apparent psychological effects it induces.
GM Notes: Calias' Hand is an example of a magic gun. The weapon was originally forged for the guardian spirit Calias, the captain of the immortal organization Terrawatch; after the organization became defunct following Earth's destruction, Calias perished, and his handgun was lost and subsequently rediscovered on Squire III by Alliance scientists. Its unique properties are apparent in the ammunition it fires; "blessed" ammunition, created either by demonic ritual, which takes one week per batch of 1000 bullets, or by leaving the weapon loaded with normal ammunition for one hour without firing it, causes critical damage to certain magic-born or spirit-born entities, like ghosts, elementals, demons, angels, and Kyrozch alien soldiers. At 10 kilograms (22 pounds), it is an extremely dense object; few humans have the strength to wield it properly. The weapon, being of supernatural origin, has a physiological and psychologial effect on any being that touches it directly; anyone wielding the weapon, mortal, supernatural, or divine, will be corrupted by the weapon's intensely evil aura. In humans, this initially manifests as extreme pain and bursts of unexplained anger. A human will have acute hallucinations after one hour, and will be completely possessed by the weapon's "soul" after six hours. Exposure to the weapon is accumulated only through direct contact; however, accumulated exposure fades extremely slowly, if at all, similarly to radiation damage. The effects of the aura fade when the weapon is removed from contact, but remanifest themselves rapidly should the weapon be touched again.
"I didnt know space was a place of faries." Came to mind when I read that weapon. But then again I am a warhammer fan so this should not bother me.
I think its cool tho
.
And if possible would there be anyway that one of the old ones would summarise what happend in space one and two?
I like the gun as well, and old ones? I was there for part of Space 2, but I'm not OLD...
I was talking bout algebra ![]()
Haha... Algebra your old... ![]()
I'll tell the story starting from Carl's perspective.
Carl has been spending about a year charting known space ever since he was flung into this universe by a quantum jump gone awry. He receives a distress call from the Heleriya, Logan's ship, which is about to face a small fleet of big, bad, mean Kallum ships - three Yoltoc carriers and two Colta warships. Well, *something* throws Carl's ship right into the path of this flotilla and engages the Kallum fleet; the Heleriya follows shortly afterward. They defeat the fleet, but not before one of the Kallum ships spawns a massive black hole from which the ships barely escape; the Heleriya ends up hyperspacing into the future, and Carl's ship makes an emergency jump by drawing power from the black hole's rotational energy (his ship's slipstream drive, way back then, is really inefficient).
The rest of the story centers around the discovery of Blacken and the quest to neutralize this black hole, which, Logan discovers, will consume the entire galaxy if left unchecked. Along the way, we discover the Wraith, the Kyrozch, and the Orion colony (whom we subsequently transplant to Blacken). Additionally, we are introduced to Julius, who performs a few tasks of pure wizardry (including hyperspacing an entire fleet out of harm's way and conjuring freighters out of nowhere o_O), but is mostly uninvolved until we face this giant Kallum ship we think is a planet which contains plans for a black hole neutralizer, whereupon he joins Carl in the ground battle and helps with the subsequent escape and later organized strike.
S:T2S takes place about a year after the strike operation; Logan is searching for his family, whom he was briefly reunited with near the end of S:TS before they were kidnapped by some crazy malevolent entity, and Carl is helping to wage a war against the Kallum. Along the way, Logan ends up chasing a mysterious object, which warps Logan's fleet to a hyperspace sandbar; much drama ensues. Somewhere along the line, the Talus and the Cy'tan are introduced in the stages building up to a massive battle between Blacken Command and the Kallum forces. Also around this time, Carl breaks interdimensional barriers and travels back to his home universe, negotiates the end of the Infinite War, and enlists UEF assistance in building a fleet for Blacken. The UES Unification is constructed around this time. Also around this time, we are introduced to Zero, a dark-matter warship constructed by *someone* in ages past.
After the battle, someone comes up with an idea to assassinate the Kallum Emperor. A plan is built, involving a slipstream tunnel created within hyperspace; also around this time, the Cy'tan start colonizing the massive unused space on Blacken Prime, and the Matrioshka brain is marked for construction; also, the jumpgate system is activated, and a multipurpose jumpgate/hyperspace projector that doubles as planetary defense is built on Blacken. Conquest of worlds and assassination missions ensue. The strike team lands on the Kallum homeworld, an$#)%*#($&*test?
I kinda miss Zero....
So do I... we need to add something in about the rest of Zero's kind.
He was a nice, humble, good ole boy ![]()
I like the fact there are so many [pedometer] things going on that could possible all be connected
.
I'm not going to be here for a while, and I'm not sure for how long either, so I am taking Logan away from the story, but keeping him alive for when I can get back. If i can I will do small posts about different people through out the blacken fleet.
Also, Bob Baines has been Promoted to Admiral General, effectively taking over Logans position in the fleet.
Ok, everyone have fun, and thank you all for a very fun and thrilling tale.
It's far from finished
.
We'll be here, Wolves, have fun in what ever your doing ![]()
Cheers, Wolves.

We could start with someone visiting the Zero black hole?
First we would need to capture the surrounding space. And that would be hard since I thought it was located deep withing their terretory.
Might be fun to do in the near future ![]()

You're kidding right? So far three, maybe four, different people have delved deep into what WAS Kallum territory with little difficulty.
Face it, wether you want it to be this way or not the Kallum have been removed as a threat, there is currently no big-bad-wolf in the galaxy... although why you need one to tell a story is beyond me ![]()
[EDIT]
And I'm working on my next post now.... y'all should like it ![]()
I like to write stories that face me against all odd and still crush the enemy. ![]()
And maybe something ya'll should know: Only about 100 billion Cy'Tan have know locations. There are still 900 bil that should be unknown to you guys
. I'm trying super hard to find something about there whereabouts or what happened to them but most seem a little far fetched.
Well, pretty soon you'll get your big bad wolf, don't worry ![]()
Big Bad Wolf #2? Can't wait.... ![]()
awesome! it is nice to have a unified direction
Yay! Fokker posted again! ![]()
