Haha, Alundra, that was my fam. Don't remember who posted it or the link though. sad

Modestus Experitus

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

Explaining this kills the joke, but here goes anyway tongue

Firstly, if the rabbit WAS in fact invisible, it still wouldn't change the fact that an invisible rabbit was inside an invisible bush. The rabbit then proceeds to mention that everything could possibly be invisible, and only the bird can see everything, which leads the bird to start thinking about the plausibility of what the rabbit was saying. Kind of like how people in the Matrix were unaware of themselves being in the Matrix...without any knowledge of the outside world, there is no way to determine the validity of the situation (which is the paradox the bird is stuck in, in the comic). So that's the joke, the bird questions his entire life from one bunny rabbit, who statements whether true or false, is still inside the bird's bush tongue

Nope--assumption does not necessarily imply proof. It can simply be a rational observation--e.g. when there's light, you can infer darkness when light is absent even if you've never sensed darkness. It does not necessarily imply proof.

However, for such an assumption to be true, it must be necessairly true i.e. true in all possible worlds. That is something that you are not entitled to. For example, it is easy for me to imagine a world in which one's individual's mind/experience makes up that reality. In addition, you can make a rational observation and infer darkness is the absence of light. However, it is a jump from that rational observation to the rational observation that: 'there is an external world independent of my mind'. How can you prove that?

Re: funniest fam pics......guys lets stick to the topic ....

I was in that fam too smile

from my understanding back then

I thought the bird was just drunk and starting to hallucinate the rabbit and talking to it...hence at the end of the comic he was just in a dark room drinking a booz smile

"Sorry I'm late, I'm afraid I got lost on the path of life."
