thanks for spoiler alert arfeh!! can everyone do that in the future too with links?   I read all day for work and am lazy so I haven't read the books.  However, I agree with my smoking hot cousin who said she couldn't wait for the shows so she bought the books and I might have to do the same soon.

Probably like that episode of Portlandia where they watch all of the BSG seasons non-stop while calling in to work sick to continue watching. Always sucks when you catch up to the current eps and have to wait a week inbetween them sad

I think the publishers are pressuring him a bit more to get the books out now. I guess a combination of the brand awareness thanks to the shows and  the fact that GRRM looks like he could drop dead at any moment owing to his planet like figure.
