when over building with research centre's on a planet, how long do u have to keep them for to make profit on the cost price??

Would depend on a few factors. (in relation to % gain in the different research fields)

- What OB % you start off with.
- How high youre OBin.
- Empire size.
- Your total NW.

In relation to funding:

They say FBin RCs pays itself back within 6 ticks so I would assume a rough base guesstimate would be multiplied by your OB. ie: 300% = 6 ticks x 3, etc etc...

you forgot to factor in the 1 endu used hence my saying that its ~6 ticks for it to pay itself off tongue (depending on endu prices)

and your p.s. is dribble tongue I cant understand what youre trying to imply there. But the fact is all RCs pay themselves off over time.

Youre correct in a way. The NW rising would increase Empire % and that would infact increase building costs. I didnt want to get too technical on the calcs hence the rough guesstimate smile

Pfft, just use new strat. With nice research bonus on planets, you shouldn't build rc's on any planets but those. Grab a few (5-10) and ob the shit out of them with rc's, and then you've got your rc's gaining points. No need for demo's, and if you want to get rid of them for nw, then pass them away. More long term gain from this, than just building them on your planets and demo them after a day or 2.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....
