When you get to the stage of cleaning up so many multiple posts all the time, you just go crazy...and POW! spam a forum yourself just to remove the insanity of it all...I stand by every word I said, but only after the first time I said it ![]()
That's Rich Wornstrum
"That's Rich Wornstrum"
"I like the Rich"
Yay! \o/
This discussion is more about "good" or "evil" rather than "rich" or "poor". A "good" rich person offers jobs and positive investments in the economy or public life. On the other side a "bad" rich person wants to harm the community and gain money no matter the costs for the society.
"You don't "have" the money or the opportunity, you borrow the money at 0% interest (subsidized student loans) and make the opportunity."
While this doesn't change your argument, I just want to point out that not *all* loans are subsidized. Currently my subsidized loans cover about 1/3 - 1/4 of my expected annual expenses. Also, subsidized loans doesn't mean 0% forever. Interest rate goes up to 8% (i think?) after graduation (or some time after graduation). It's 0% while you're in school because the government pays for the interest during this time.
And yet you are expected to earn 40-50% more over the next decade than if you did not get the degree. So 1/3 of 150% is 50%. Congrats... you zero summed it, but got an education and a more comfortable job than otherwise.
