while its nice to be able to build/send 8 per day, in a smaller fam this can be difficult with activity. to shorten expo phases i was thinking maps/system count should be reduced & try limiting e-ships tp say 4 per day?

im finding in small fams with inactivity problems by the time you can send & fb a player who has stocked 3 days worth of ships even with 2 other active players you've got something like another 50 expos ready to go. makes you planet fat & fodder for other fams.

other peoples opinions please? smile

maybe have the amounts increase as the round goes on, 
week 1: 4 ships per day
week 2: 8/day
week 3+: 10-12/day to finish up expo phase quickly


this allows for even relatively slow starting growth while not handicapping people for too long

then just dont explore if u getting pfat.
if annything small fams have less explos building in general compaired to the bigger fams.

problem is you still need to fill a core and secure a space to grow/protect. besides it doesnt take long to get everyone building 8 per day as main thing is cash & everyone gets a banker going first

then why r there so manny fams being so bloody planetfat, they keep exploring and exploring. the income/portal/exploration cost ratio wil be completely off, by playing this way youl never get closer to the other fams eco.
u need to focus more on infra and do proper big jumps using construction rc and not explore, explore, explore.

Increasing expo limit per day would only increase the disparity between fams.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

max expos maybe decided by number of players in fam...

so:

10 player fam, 10 player max = 8 per day each
5 player fam, 10 player max = 16 per day each


maybe?
