Ppl still use war blocks, or declare to remove a small guy via Sentinel tag, or dont un-declare... List goes on...

I really think wars should be public knowledge, with a permanent board in the relations page showing what fams in the gal are at war at anytime.

thats a new op I just have noticed, but not updated in the guide

anyway, people will not use that op to find out wars, it will be used mostly for naps

It would be nice on another level that every time someone declares war on another fam a forum post is automatically created! Would give the fams a chance to explain why they are at war, and drop some basic info on what is going on smile

EoR Awards could be assessed by how many threads were started throughout the round smile

idk how i feel about wars being public, on one hand it would be useful to see which fams are warring to do stuff like work the market, know who you are currently safe from, easily pick out warblocks and such. but on the other hand i can see certain kinds of people only choosing targets that are already weakened by fighting in or  loosing a war, heck even winning a war can take a toll on a family in the short term by needing to rebuild certain planets and defenses.  which is not to say that people do not do this now, just that it would be much easier for them to take advantage of such situations
