Well people are aware of ObamaCare, but there are some aspects they may not be aware of

1) Severability Clause
In the lower courts many struck ObamaCare down entirely, and some only outlawed portions.

The reason for this is interpetatiins if the "Severability Clause". If the Supreme Court decides part of the law is wrong it would in effect push the Severability Clause as the default then, since the bill clearly has none, while earlier versions did.

If they rule the entirety of the bill un-Constitutional then the Severability claims of other rulings by lesser courts could be ruled incorrect and be remanded for new judgement.

Either way this could have repercussions beyond our life spans.

2) Commerce
If ObamaCare is allowed under Commerce ruling, then this opens a whole new boat.

Under that ruling Congress, with Presidential Approval, could force everyone to buy anything.

Examples that Liberals would find repulsive include:
Mandates to buy Beef
Mandates to buy copies of the Constitution
Mandates to buy and install a flagpole on all prive properties (and a US Flag)
Force you ti buy Michael Ssavges books.
To buy stock in a company dedicated to over throw Socialism

In other words... this is the freak out ruling. And it automatically wins if ObamaCare wins.

3) Commerce old rulings
A strike down of ObamaCare by means of the Commerce clause could lead to a revision of earlier rulings by SCOTUS including medical weed and agriculture kept inside a State. While unlikely it could lead to future courts backing away from those earlier decisions.

4) The Tax Penalty
One of the more unique sides to this is the declaration of a penalty as a taxation right. The idea is simple... if your in noncompliance your no longer a criminal per say but instead you will pay a fine. Yes read that again. Congress, which loves money, could make a number of crimes also have a tax fine if done. And there would be no way to stop it if ObamaCare passes.

Now there is a slight chance ObamaCare will be 'punted' downfield for two years, but most accept that is unlikely.

It is also possible that the Justices will rule in a very narrowly defined manner, which would be... interesting. However this to is unlikely.
