I disagree, I feel that 2 weeks is to long to go without attacking and just infra. Takes away the fun of the game and only serves for smaller families being dominated by bigger ones because they can't clear out their planets from their systems in time.

I do agree on the protection mode that leaders can enable / disable.  really sucks to have someone join your fam and attack a high ranked family.

it only benifits the fams who r organised properly allready. knowing good eco, being able to be ready for full scale war after 2 weeks, the shitty fams just wont.
better to give them the option to clear big fams out before its to late.

or include a safe zone for each fam with like 10 systems 200 planets or something simelar where no other fam can explore in those 2 weeks period.
