Not some silly air circulation system... but oil and coolant to help reduce the heat fast and distribute it better.

Seriously Apple seems to have made their products double as ovens in a secret ploy to take over that segment as well...

anyone who is mentally stable wouldn't have an ipad in the first place. so this fix is irrelevant....

My opinion: Asus Transformer Prime is most awesome tablet around at the moment.

I don't think I need a tablet. I have my phon, iPod and laptop on me at all times. A tablet would just be something else to carry.

That's probably how it would work out, but even though my laptop annoys the life out of me I'd never leave it behind.

Tablet = very expensive laptop..
It's like buying an alienware laptop but with half the specs and the same price..

For portable work/gaming/general use: Laptop > Tablet

The only reason anyone would buy one is that in thier mind it makes them look good. It offers nothing new or improved over a laptop.. Except its smaller and lighter... And hotter it would seem.

I've got an Asus Transformer TF-101. I use it when i travel and take it with me to work to watch stuff on while im working. The battery life over a laptop is the biggest gain i notice. For instance, today at work i've had episodes of Dr Who playing from 8:30am until now 2pm and it's been off battery power alone. I've got 47% charge left (I have the dock that goes with the transformer which has another battery but it's drained right now)

I tried to watch a couple of episodes on my laptop unplugged and i got halfway through the second before i got the critical battery warning.

That said, i use my laptop primarily for downloading media and then i move it to my tablet or an external hard drive just because it's easier.

And my tablet never gets hot enough to disturb me in anyway tongue And they just updated the firmware to Android ICS 4.0 big_smile
