Topic: NOOB GUIDE: Beginning of Round Baratheon Strategy

If you happen to random into the Baratheon family, don't give up right away.

Here's what you need to do: Immediately message all family members.  Explain that having Baratheon in your family and trying to win is comparable to having herpe-gono-syphil-AIDS and trying to sleep with beautiful women after showing them your medical history.  It ain't going to happen.  Tell all of them to vote you for leader and use the following strategy as soon as the round starts.  Send all starting resources in the family to a single player.  Have that player build as much fleet as possible.  As soon as the transports are finished, mark Baratheon as inactive and send that player's entire fleet to his home planet.  Kill him.

Jumping an attacker to kill off a fam member at the start of the round will definitely nerf your start, but it's better to have a nerfed start than to ensure that Baratheon wrecks your family's entire round.

This is your only hope.

Very true!  They tried to burn Florian at the stake, but the fire refused to light.  So they tied a ball and chain to his ankle and threw him in the river.  If the first strategy doesn't work, come up with a second.  The latter usually does.

@Rin: 12 hours for transports, 36 more to hang out in orbit.  Bara won't have enough ground by then to avoid getting slaughtered.  Like I said, this is the only way to ensure that your round doesn't get completely ruined.

I have always endeavoured to work with the family.

I am a guaranteed top 10 player, I am an extra attacker, and I allow the fam to keep a massive army at all times without costing them upkeep.
I attack during wars, I provide my strategic counsel, and I help along the fam's progress like any other active and experienced player.

Hawaii, instead of being negative and attempting to slander my reputation, why not posit a strategy that would have a fam work cohesively with me thus automatically improving the fam's success if they are found fortunate enough to have me random into their fam?

you havent made one attack while i've been in your fam and you dont play for the family networth. the only thing that you care about is player networth as you showed when you sold your previous fam out making that nap

We have an ss in our pw fam instead of killing him off. I let him grow even sent him gc from time to time. every once in a while he sends resources to return the favor. He can still clear his portal shares or retake if he wants ,but we dont push ourselves on him.

1. dont elect bara leader.
2. he can do fine in most fams if you just understand he isnt gonna aid all the time.
3. bara is a nice guy just misunderstood.

I dont see the point of the whole strategy if you can just use the rogue button. Wanna keep it simple stupid? Go for the easiest solution tongue
