Orion u are completely missing the point....

If you look at all the empires that did nothing (1250 nw) you find the inactives.

Then you check if they had market transactions that are suspicious, and if they do, check their IPs. Thats about what u can do.

If u want to dig deeper, then u can check the big families, analyze their news and see who aided out more than they should during the first few ticks.  Its not hard, but ofc its alil hard when u only hire lazy mods!! (not u Primo)

And Orion, i dont have any problem accepting that others can boost past us early, especially thoose that got free endu. But you need to realize that theese people that sell endu are doing it to boost someone else, and its these guys you want to catch. The people that got the endu might be random, but the people that got marketaided free cash and iron are the real crooks, and they are easy to catch.

I got 2 strange guys in my fam both times went to mod to report them. I still have a guy now neverland, newly registered account, says he wanted to break with his bad history.
Says he had bad experiances with family so he will SS, and that he will try out an endurium strat. So i got to mod but nobody answers me. Its no problem for me you know, i'm just trying to help.

Just pointing out, that its gotten to a point where you can't trust any randoms, and that sucks. I say make rogue tag where not only you can't attack or opp, but where you can do no market transactions aswell!

And lee, the pot and the kettle etc etc, ive no problem admiting that i did beyond shady stuff back in the days, althou with a mod in my family i think you have pretty good indications i am clean wink (because mods NEVER cheat, nai opti, torqez, KB, NEVER!!)

IP's can easily be changed (and not only by using a VPN, but also often by resetting a router to obtain a new IP from the pool). All this does is forces players into doing something that cannot be traced and the situation remains the same. The market staying closed for 48 hours might be a fix...but that also makes the start harder/slower but at least give fams a more even start (not based on who gets their endo bid in first, for example).

I would say Multi's are the worst form of cheating in this game. We are cracking down hard on them over the past months, but it's not an easy task. I can't give details on how we do it, or it would be easier to circumvent the process, but we are catching them. If you're not happy with how it's done, maybe we trim our requirements for a "multi" down to the most simplest evidence and then we start blocking from there? I just don't want to hear any bitching when all of a sudden 50% of IC is blocked for multi's because of "suspiscious" behavior.

Arby: A very strict mod, reminds me of a fat redneck who drives a truck around all day with a beer in one hand. I hated this guy at the start, however, I played a round in PW with him where he went as an anonymous player. Our fam got smashed up and everyone pretty much left. Arby stayed around and helped out the remaining family. At the end of the round he revealed himself.... My views on him have changed since. Your a good guy.....

I mean, how often in other rounds has there been more than a few hundred endu sold at all? (I seriously dont know tongue) Throwing 30k down off the bat for some endu seems excessive to me. After all, without the iron there isnt much you can do short term with it to make it profitable.

Also top 7 fams are cheating? lol.... ok then!

Finally, someone wanting to break away from their bad history sounds suss also. Considering you can hide it if youre so worried about it.

you cant catch multis if they delete/rejoin after market aid. and Noir we know not all of mods can see multis even if they are in the same fam.
