Re: Voter ID
Recently Dpenguins asked "Do you support voter ID laws" to me.
My answer was short and direct "Yes" and I elaborated only in a minor way. Allow me to take a time to explain why I believe it is NOT racist, is not a handicap to people voting, or anything else nefarious.
ID is REQUIRED for the following:
Driving
Boarding an Airplane
Doctors Office Visit
When Applying for a Job
Pharmacy
Bank Transactions
Applying to School
Applying for Credit Score
Purchasing a Car
Registering a Car
Medicare/Medicaid
Open a Retirement Account
Vote in a Union
Donate Blood
Buy a Firearm
Social Security Services
Pawn Shops
Buying Train Tickets
Buying Bus Tickets
Volunteers in Non-Profit Orgs.
Check out a Book at a Library
Buy a House
Apartment Rental Application
Buying Alcohol
Buying Cigarettes
Drug Counseling Programs
Piss Tests
Using a Credit Card
Applying for Store Credit Card
Getting a Cellular Phone
That list is far from complete. Don't ask me for extra items, use your own brain. If all that requires ID, then the final line I told Dpenguins applies:
You cannot operate in society without ID anymore.
Kemp currently not being responded to until he makes CONCISE posts.
Avogardo and Noir ignored by me for life so people know why I do not respond to them. (Informational)
