Re: imperial rankings

in your personal rankings have it show your family's ranking for that round as well?

some peoples rankings for a certain round don't really show what they have achieved for that particular round as they have gone for over all glory instead of self indulgence...

Re: imperial rankings

fam ranks often get by outsaving others for a eor jump or by napping the whole gal raping a fwew at the end, or gotten big by their alies.
it doesnt say much then either tongue

no need for rankings, aslong you know u gave the full 100% u can be proud of yourself. else go to hell! tongue

Re: imperial rankings

I disagree with Painside. Showing fam ranks show teamwork. People will know how your fam got to where they are when they see the ranks so it really does not matter if 1 fam got it through farming or whatever.

Would be a nice way to show how you do seeing as this is a team oriented game. Not solo

Re: imperial rankings

I like this idea. Adds extra meaning to looking at ones rankings (Though finding a seasoned player who has this open is the hard part).

You get a guy who finishes 10th overall in NW and came from a 15th ranked fam shows considerable potential to any fam he joins after that.

Some one who finishes 1st in NW in a 1st rank fam shows that he could be overrated and carried by his fam some what.

Everyone can have a chance at EoR jumping, if you take rankings seriously. Would be cool to add a little extra to the rankings so that some more ppl keep them open!

Re: imperial rankings

someone being 50th size 50th in nw could mean he gave all up so someone else may shine at the rankings. if you add this people wil make a sport just like the eor jumps to get people these awards to show for on the forums wink

top fams got nothing else to do.

Re: imperial rankings

Unlikely scenario...not that many people pay that close attention to your awards page.

Re: imperial rankings

neither they do for rankings, either their top x or they are a nothing. its the reason people go mia so often, they cant stand to lose, so they just quit, so it doesnt hurt their feelings that much =p

Re: imperial rankings

Again, you are looking it at wrong. People go MIA because they don't want to put in a lot of effort when their family does not do it along side them.

I have played in fams that would lose the round for sure from the beginning and all of the fam members understood that, yet we were commited to working together. We didn't go MIA because we still had a common goal to work towards.

However, if you are the only active player (even 3-4) in a fam and you realise that you are going to be fish food for that reason. Then you lose interest.

Not to cause problems here, just speaking what I think. But so far, not a whole lot of what you have said in order to make your case against this idea is good...

Re: imperial rankings

OP's idea is not a perfect solution but it would be better than what we have now.
