SDSS 2-3 man fams, full draft so you dont have to deal with multis/inactives as such. No market again
Possibly 1 ally if fams are kept small enough!

thats the question, I remember Draco as the real HC gal, and SD kept for players playing alone, HC style yes, but mainly SS.
Now my idea, why dont keep it at 1 man fam and make it standard rules? not HC and allowing 2 allies.
that would be insanely boring render..
3 man fams was awesome last time i played it.. Would love to play it again....

Everyone lost intrest in this round after a week already - at least I did hehe. Make it 3-man fam HC gal, now that'd be fun to play. This was just boring, and without hc rules it'd be just infrwhoring ![]()
well its a lot different with 2 allies, the last round I remember like that was fun.
The difference lays between being 3 people in a same fam (not SS) or being 3 people in separated fams (SS)

its boring, everyone naps each other and its just full on fail.
Sd never was a SS galaxy render, 3 man HC no SS X(
i think the biggest factor of this round being dull was the sheer size of galaxy and amount of planets to explore. it meant lots of people could just sit and core hug (i did this for quite a while) and be relatively safe for the entire month. & i dread to think of how many planets were still un explored, i mean till the last day my hs wasn't fully explored... says a lot. so SS is good when its small and very competitive for planets, and also not done round after round.

no planet trades? if its 3 man how is that going to be abused, you are working as a team surely? if you can send aid to each other you can work as a team in 3 man.

Every round needs to at least have a phase that people explore, otherwise noone has anything to really build fleets, nor anything to fight over...it shouldn't be very long I agree, but it has to be there ![]()
HC 3 players: makes the Pax very powerfull, but it's the same for all fams and it's HC after all
HC 2 players: U have to chose between Pax super powers or more income
HC 2 you have more competitive fams and a different dynamic that we never tested
I would like to see how it works once, but it's up to u guys!
I would say closed market if it's HC2 and open market if it's HC3 to give a chance to a fam under Pax spells

no planet trades between fam members forces everyone to play SS, thats my point. You can still use aid packages tho in case the fam decides to jump 1 person thats fighting alone.
"explo phase in SD should not even exist" <- it's a way of talking really, but I proposed in ideas a setup for SD long ago, where you start the round with 25 planets randomly placed in the map, then you have to decide which ones you try to keep and which not, and try to draw a core with your fam. Don't know why it wasnt even tested ![]()
@NW even if you play attacker and keep a lot of planets it does not affect your morale in SD, anyway, you have to realise my intention is to make no teams (you can do it at your risk lol) and make it SS play even with 3 men fams.
omg not everyone wants SS all the time render its been MILKED you cannot force ppl to play SS in 3 man fams, thats stupid for that may aswell leave it as boring 1 man ss.
