Pizza... Pizza is a luxury.

Consider... to make Pizza you must have dough, sauce, ingredients, and an oven.

Which comes to mind... an oven is a luxury.

Why are you shaking your head?

A microwave cooks for cheaper than an oven, and can cook enough things for your human survival.



So a microwave is essential, and an oven is a luxury.




Do you understand yet? Some liberals are shaking their heads no... oh my... I guess I need to educate you.



First the bare bones neccessity of life is shelter, food, and water.

Anything else is a luxury, though there are degrees of luxuries.



Clothes are a luxury that is neccessary for you to keep a job. So you get a pass on them, but do not buy those new Nike shoes! Those are definitely a luxury. Here buy these Keds. Yes there is a hole in the bottom of the shoe... but no one sees the hole so it is ok.


Next food... honestly you should be eating barley soup... tis cheap, quick, and effective. Nothing else. All other stuff is a luxury!

Next... oh that shower is a luxury. Here is a spray bottle and a sponge. Be sparing!

Use your sponge water to do your laundry...

Annoyed yet?

The point of this is that luxuries exist for all people. My Smart Phone is a luxury. I could have made do with an ancient blackberry or such.

We live to buy a better product, to better ourselves. We want to be in fashion and to have fun. To take luxuries away is also to take jobs away.

Yes I said jobs. A smart phone is harder to make than a cell phone. Mass production is quicker on an old motorola than a new Motorola phone. Less people needed, more quantity produced...

So when you protest luxuries like the so called 99% do... remember the iPad they are using to protest with... is a luxury.




I support luxuries, let everyone decide what luxuries they wish to buy, tax less so they can buy more luxuries, and better luxuries!

You can make do without a mobile phone...in fact, at one time, there was no need for a telephone. I suggest you read "Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs", which goes into details about the concept of needs over wants, and how needs evolve as the conditions of a human grow (for example, someone without food to eat, will not be worrying about finding shelter for him and his family. He will be concentrating on food. He then creates his own farmland, and can continue to provide for him, and although he still needs food to survive, he will seek to satisfy his next level of needs, which is shelter). Good read, and explains why the 99% demand what they demand.

No ovens in China, and it makes me sad...I like using an oven to cook (cakes, scones, muffins, roasts, casseroles, etc) but there are no ovens in China. I miss my oven sad

How about time travel?  Relativistic physics has no problem whatsoever with going forward in time (it does have problems with going backwards, obviously)... he would just need a vehicle to transport him at fairly high speeds.

If that is the case, then we have a serious problem...population will be INSANE..."when 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not"...Yoda might have still been able to kick ass, but he was frail and only taught! Which leads to employment problems...and frankly, by the time you reach 900, you will have done everything possible in the world...

Assumedly if they can keep someone alive for 1000 years then they're going to have a way to stop brain and body degradation...that's kind of how they would be able to live for 1000 years.

The point is, Imperial Conflict is a luxury.

So if you want to make taxes to high, people cannot afford VIP accounts and then no one can play when IC shuts down.

We should endorse low taxes so that luxuries can be afforded by all.
