Of course hate being a relative term, since in Iraq it is being beaten or stoned to death, while over here it just gets you stared at.

Over here a short skirt gets you stared at too, but in Egypt it could get you gang raped... which is sorta close to what happens in Japan according to Hentai as well.

Over here you piss on a cross and people get pissed and write a letter to the editor.... Over in Pakistan merely burning an already desecrated Koran gets you shot assassin style.


Man that Sharia law stuffs pretty *sees a crowd of Muslims*... umm... cool as all heck and can be! Wow I wanna convert to the Religion that's 'Holy Book' translates to the word 'Peace' right away!

I read the story, since Reuters fed a copy to MSNBC.

Emo is just another classification of Punk.  Even good old Ma and Pa Christian, killed their own children back in the early 1980's, because they were into "the culture of satan."  This news does not surprise me that these children are being killed overseas for dressing or "Acting out".   Some of the child killings in the 1980's were done by people not even religious, but wanted to hold up the "Ideals of a purified society."

It's a world wide phenomina, it's not just in Egypt.  Happened in Pakistan, Russia, France, United States of America, Great Brittain....It's nothing new.  Reuters should have delved more into the history of the culture of Emo, and it's different names throughout history.

Grease Head.  Hippy.  Punk.  Raver.  Emo
The names were all different, but the rebeliousness of youth goes on.   In another seven years we'll call it something else.

and second hippy and Raver were not forms of emo duh!

Emo is a toned down variation of Goths, but instead of focusing on darkness, they focus on how they look. In this sense I disagree that they are like punks, as being punk is about not really caring smile (but not , not caring in the same sense as grungers -_-')



and anyway yeah, their has always been people who hate other people since the dawn of time, going back to when we were all tribes of half human/half monkeys running around protecting our gangs smile.


but lol When the emo's get tired of people hating they will change, I'd say 5 years from now max is the life expectancy of the emo Era smile
