Flashy (CPU) 5867, forced a free pnap with us early in round, rather than being raped like all you other fams .

I'd say us (5864), we've offered naps to fams before too much damage had been deaalt (with 1 clear example, but that was due to their own stupidity).

5853, trying to cancel on us right after our war with 59. Good thing they got punished by 59.

5859 showed a lot of fighting spirit in their war against 53, so I'm voting for them.

Lee (Zelda) 5864. I'm not gonna vote for myself, so there ya go .

lol RD, you're making it seem like Tornado knows how to attack to begin with... let's not even give him that much credit. If you look at it from the perspective that he's new, then it was only somewhat disappointing.

I'm a relatively new player myself, defintely don't consider myself a vet.
I know that when I first started, I didn't act arrogant nor did I try to get myself noticed through negative ways (at least I like to think I didn't ). Just being active and eager to learn will make you get to learn the game, and game knowledge will give you a reputation.

If new players have to resort to trying to get noticed in a wrong way, be it being dishonest, being dishonorable, trash talking in forums and/or deleting, then I doubt it'd be good for the game to get even more of those undesirable players...

Honestly, if that guy was new and he remained clueless throughout the round, his family members should've mentored him far better. There's some top notch players in that fam, some fairly good attackers.  I'm not sure whether someone tried to or no one did, but was this guy being mentored by one of them?

There are many reasons why IC is dying and this particular instance, it is not the reason.

Unless you know the exact situation, please refrain from commenting. On many attempts I have begged Tornado to attack, including processing his portal list and literally went to the map and submit a list of 75 systems that are within 2 ticks (camaar) of his portals, where there were at least one player in those systems that he could clear. This is a repeated effort, in addition to the fact that I have tried numerous times in trying to teach him how to attack the right way, while he always claimed that he understood but minimal actions were taken. Eventually my patience wore thin and I lost all hope of relying on him as our sole attacker. This is more effort than most of the family has invested in him this round.

You can think out of the thinktank, but please learn to listen when your idea is clearly stupid. No "vet" is going to blatantly disregard your ideas without precisely addressing you why it is wrong/inefficient/waste of time. When this happens, LISTEN. Of course the "vets" could be wrong, but use reason to prove why that's the case.

Learn how to play the right way will earn you recognition, you earn respect in this game by putting time and effort into understanding the details of how this game works from every angle possible and maximize your utility within the family based on your knowledge: you talk the talk and walk the walk. People will try to make you feel welcomed until a point where you become a waste of their time and effort when you refuse to learn. Most importantly, do not run your mouth while failing to back it up, you're embarrassing yourself and the efforts of your family members. It's not hard to see when you're getting your asses handed to you because you don't know how to play this game.
