Topic: Raze Portal option glitch

"You have a portal on planet 0 in the XX,YY star system. If we raze it, we will be unable to defend the planet with our main fleet and be forced to rely on our stationed forces.

Are you really sure you want to raze this portal?"

I've clicked the "Raze Portal" option on the same planet 4 times now.  It doesn't work and I think this might be why.

yeh it is bugged, it doesnt work since there is no such thing as a planet 0

Hmm, did you do it through planets page? If you do it seperatly it says planet 0 indeed. So just try it through the planets page next time.. problem should be solved then. At least I think so..

its not the point!! ofc u can still raze portals on planet page....its the new function that just doesnt work.

This isn't the point either...Orion, since he does not have the power to fix such issues, was just suggesting a workaround in the meantime which is more helpful than going "zomg it's a bug" like your responses...in fact, he also confirmed that he has the same issue (which might even be helpful locating the problem code...doubtful in this case, but in other cases possibly)...so his posts were actually spot on accurate/helpful, can we say the same for yours? tongue

oh wait..u mean as unhelpful as ur post? ur just a forum mod, go away, orion didnt confirm the bug as having the same issue, that was me or can u not read?

i was just comfirming that the bug exists. simple.

^ that right there, that is not reporting on the bug at all...also, it doesn't warrant a 2nd post aimed at someone trying to help (since you already made the point in the first post)...

Really the criteria for Fmods must have dropped if u cant even read timestamps. ROFL

making out like i tried to belittle Orions mini Fix? u took my post the wrong way, by saying "its not the point" i didnt mean anything, except the fact the new function doesnt work. u took it the wrong way and tried to make me look like a tw@t. as fmod are u even allowed to do such things as belittle ppl? i think not.

Current Raze Portal link: imperialconflict.com/portal.php?x=xx&y=yy&number=n

Needs to be changed to: imperialconflict.com/portal.php?x=xx&y=yy&planet=n&galaxy=g

where
xx is the x-coordinate for the system the planet is in
yy is the y-coordinate for the system the planet is in
n is the planet number in the system xx,yy
g is the galaxy the planet is in

My apologies...I did read the whole thread before posting, and yes I did see you posted that it was a bug. I never meant to call into question of whether it was a bug or not (or over who identified it), but I wanted to point out that just because there is a bug, other posts trying to help are not unwelcomed...sorry for the misunderstanding of my original post...
