Deletions ruined my round, 70 planets down the drain cos of deleters.

Fair enough AW but the fact was we had a general agreement to not hit each other ever from our IRC talks. My bad for not PNAP'n, my bad for misunderstanding that differently to you. The fact I kept our shared core clean because you couldnt and blew most of my savings defending that while you literally didnt log into SD for about a week, then use those savings to cancel on me in my eyes is poor form.

Im all for the deletion button to be removed from SD, but the other abuse needs to be fixed also (NAPs not being able to attack back while declared etc).

Next time Ill hold my cards closer to my chest and wont show pity to inactive nubbins

BTW, Arby <3 The agreement we had didnt need ingame NAPs to keep it in place. I held you with that high regard also AW, well at least I did

Just throwing this out there. When you take a step back and look at IC and compare it to say...a kid playing a card game?

The person is told that stealing is wrong, yet the games that are available offer 2 types of play. 1. Where you dont cheat, and 2. Games that ENCOURAGE cheating.

Can you really get mad if he gets confused as to which one is which? Or maybe when he loses sight of the purpose of each and plays both like he is supposed to cheat?

Same thing applies to this situation. When farming is considered dishonorable and yet you create a "hard core" galaxy where it is just fine. How can people seriously get mad when the lines start to blur on what is right and wrong? When you show people how easy it is to get ahead by playing "dirty" they will eventually choose that route every time and then the results will be the same as we are having in IC.

Maybe if IC was to show a unified front as a whole we could make this game a little better?

yeah, nukes is just a game feature.
nuking someone to death is not even abusing a game feature....

In SD everything has to be balanced well, even more with 1 player families. Income, food, fleet size, agents, wizzies etc...

It makes part of the game play to build at the right time the right number of what ever.
