Update so far (tick 1)

10 didnt jump at all, and 01/11 found who they left their savings on and opped them pretty heavily. Around 5bn gc and 150m iron was killed by ops. Seems 10 didn't even want to put up a fight.

19 jumped 1 attacker - doc martin, pretty big. However, fleet for 11s main attacker is around double, while 01s main attacker has equal fleet to 19s. So far during the first tick there has been 1 hit on 01s figs and a possible crash also on 01.

While the main attackers duked it out, a raid was carried out by the resourcers and bankers in fam 11. Overall the raid was pretty successful:

A few other shares have been hit, but so far there has been very little major action other than the damage to the economy of 19.

Uhmmm... I think is necessary new rules for top wars... I have observed when much families they says good and great EOR wars... people is bored and They dont want to do wars They going inactives and mode vacations. smile

Uhmm...  is necessary to have one top in reserves bank, as saving cash and resources... possibly 5 billons of cash, 200 millions of iron, 100 millions of endu and octarine... I dont know... but is necessary reevaluate this or  each round going shit each big war....

If family top have that top reserve bank in hand... production of cash and resources is zero... not more production.

looool how can you call it farming - its been 4 ticks o.O

The problem with IC and the reason it will never really become popular is pretty simple: loss aversion. It feels a lot worse to lose a planet, when compared to how good it feels to gain a planet. Obviously "a planet" could also be fleet, buildings, income, etc.

This is why there are so many threads where people complain about farming, but no one really posts or makes threads about how good they feel when they take 300 planets from someone.

Eventually people get fed up of losing their shit all the time, so they quit.

Thats exactly why it is only the hardcore people who have stuck around ... they lose less.

That said, there's not really a lot you can do as it is a war game after all, and there are already limits in place.

Though I wouldn't mind being let loose in a no-attacks galaxy to settle who is the best infra whore once and for all big_smile

+ the galaxy oversize. Make it smaller so you don't have to rape someone 1500 planets to make a point tongue. What's the use of a family having 3500 planets and jumping 60 mill figs to enter a war :s. The game eat's to much time if you want to win.

I always try to stick around but round after round the incredibly long explo phase just bores the **** out of me tongue
