People deleting after getting attacked is very furstrating indeed. I've missed out on quite a bit of planets now because of this

All these noob tips do nothing against retake+delete. They retake at eta 0 and delete, hovering fleets are useless against this. And need speed bonus to kill during sleep time on this huge map.

Made me laugh seeing one of the players hand his planets off, delete, then the player who took them gets ran through a few ticks later tongue

Also, I think that the size of the gal has created a different type of gameplay, which is sometimes good. As Rin keeps pointing out, there are other tactics that can be deployed to take out an opponent...the deleting sucks, but if you hit hard and fast, then they wouldnt have time to delete...you take a few planets and they delete is just poor attacking (and this shows poor choice, ie. dont chose Quantum for the research but go something with more speed)...I expect some decent EOR wars from the infrawhoring (and trying to take out the top competitors)...

I am sure I have seen 40 odd players disappear, so it would appear wars/battles are happening...although this is my first HC gal (and am liking that I have room to breath so I can see how it works/strats), it would appear that players are being passive, players are deleting, and players chose passive races...these things are not the mods faults, and to be honest, I think if anyone went a more aggressive race, they would be cleaning up now that the round has progressed so far...

Just my 2 cents...it is a different gal to normal, makes it interesting, don't blame the mods for its outcome but the participants (although mods are participating so they cop some of that blame tongue)

They made this round too passive.

Too long distances, and too easy to curl up in your DS and hide. Thats the mods part.

Then you can blame all the quantams for picking a defensive race tongue

Its passive because

- Map too big, Round too short
- Retake+Delete gayness being widely used, thereby making attacking/wars a growth sink

Both these things are entirely mods fault

I think no market makes things alot better and more fun. I wouldnt even play if there was a market.

Anyways, one thing that really bugs me is the fact that you cant even send to someone's HP. I think you obviously wont be able to take it until all others are gone, but whats the point? If I take all planets from some guy and he has 1 left, than whats he gonna do for the rest of the round but retake and annoy? I sent to a guy, all hes planets...1 tick before i land he explores 8 more, so now i gotta send to those and they take several hours. I mean i can wait for my portal to finish but ffs, its taking forever

I have to agree with Teddy, we should be able to send to HP and hover it until the guy is at 1 plt

Im never taking quantam again. I need speed, its a HUGE disadvantage and I doubt that a quantum will win SD. It would be a miracle!

it all depends on the use you do of them, still speed is a handycap but all in all we'll manage to research speed soon tongue
