and more importantly, you guys know drinking makes it harder for you chimychanga to rise up to the occassion? although that does tend to keep it out of trouble

There is this little thing called alcohol poisoning.  It happens when you drink too much in too short a time for your liver to break down the alcohol.
It takes longer than you might think, Humi's first night out, and he probably shouldn't have touched a drink for a week or two.
While the stuff is piling up in your liver, it is damaging it.

This is assuming of course you don't just end up killing yourself.  If your friends were checking your pulse to see if you were still alive, thats not a good thing.  What if your pulse had stopped?  Your life would be in the hands of a bunch of drunken guys.  That can only end well.

Everything is more fun when you can remember it.  Try to keep yourself in a condition that you can remember what you're doing

last time i partied with 2 good friends we split a 1.75 L bottle of vodka, a 1 L bottle of scotch, and a 5L mini keg of Heineken, i had a larger share then the others and i was barely buzzed; while finishing off the beer, we played mariokart online and i won several races. i guess all the people we played against could of been drunk, but i doubt it.

it was johnnie walker black label scotch and then it was effen vodka.

i bought the Heineken, i dont know why they spent so much on the liquor.

I only drink 1 beer. That's when I get sociable and get in with the ladies. After about 3, I feel dizzy, my thoughts are slow, and all around I don't feel comfortable. So I stick to 1, maybe 2.

I usually don't drink to get drunk, but this summer, me and a friend are going to try to empty a case of Duvel each on a whole day. Just to see wether it's possible...

yeah... When I was a young drinker, and had no idea what was a safe amount to drink, me and a couple of friends landed up getting 3 bottles (rum, vodka, whiskey) and finished it all in a (thats around 20+ shots each) in 1.5 hours. For the last shot, I remember pouring myself a large wineglass of mixed whiskey, rum and vodka, and chugged it down like a beer.

Oh god... Worst experience ever... Blackout, dead asleep, puking for about 6 hours straight, 2 day long hangover. I think we all needed our stomachs pumped but were too drunk to call the hospital so we landed up not going and by the next morning, we were relatively fine.

Still, Ive learned after that
