"Just saying its not easy to illegalise alcohol."
They tried this didn't they? It did not work...Also, I thought a glass of red wine was good for the body (could be an old wives tale).
On a seperate note of drugs, I am not going to get into an argument over the legal aspects, just some of the medical aspects. Nicotine is chemically more lethal to the human body than cocaine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nicotine). It has also been referred to as the most addictive habit to break.
Caffiene is also a drug, which is also toxic. 90% of americans consume caffiene daily and is also considered an addictive substance. Death has occured from the overdose of caffiene (although is in the form of tablets or powder).
What makes these things different from other drugs, is the likelihood of an overdose, as well as social issues that spurn from it. A drug addict will still look to make money through illegal means even if the drug is sold legally. A smoker will die eventually, but the likelihood of a smoker dying instantly from smoking is unlikely (they die from cancer and slowly). They are also issued with warnings, same with products high in caffiene.
I am an addict of caffiene, you take away my Coke and I am very unpleasant, also get massive headaches...also the Coke consumption makes me very paranoid
Caffiene causes problems with me, and would completely understand if it was made illegal, but this would never happen considering things like coffee would also need to be made illegal.
I have seen many pot heads not be able to function properly, and as such, should make it illegal (although in my country it was decriminalised, meaning that it wasnt legal, but the punishment was simply an infraction, and only issued with a fine. It was also legal to own 2 plants under a certain size).
I give your invention the worst score imaginable. An A minus MINUS!
