The rumor has it that he was assassinated in Beijing.
Means whole North Korea has to fake cry once again or get sent to a prison like camp...
source?
Only place I could find it:

Still, this is unconfirmed... so don't jump to conclusions.

I see, twitter rumour,.... I wouldn't be worried about it then, the truth will be different... Do we know if he is even meant to be in Beijing?
I lol'd at this part of Flint's second link:
Here's one version of the rumor, cleaned up from the crappy Google translation:
According to reliable sources, North Korean leader [Kim Jong-Un was killed] in Beijing in February 10 2012, at 2 o'clock and 45 minutes. Unknown persons broke into his residence shot and were subsequently shot and killed by the bodyguard.
Official Internet Rule: Any (Chinese) Twitter post that begins with "according to reliable sources" is almost certainly fake.
I also liked that the added bit was the bit claiming that Kim Jong-un was killed....
anybody seen wornstrum today???
HE is idling in char if that counts....
ask him if he took out any national leaders today

ahhh, so untrue then...
Yell, I was lying low...if they looked on here, they might suspect me...also I have not heard this rumour in China (yet I heard that Iran and the US were gonna go to war with each other almost immediately). I raised an eyebrow when I saw the title, and furthermore I doubt anyone in China really wants to kill Kim Jong-un that badly anyway ![]()
My day was actually spent on a hunt for bacon (which I have yet to find) so my craving goes unsatisfied!
Ok, I have been doing some thinking in regards to the credibility of this story (even though it has been reported as false).
Firstly, the Chinese government would not have be involved for the following reasons:
1) They gain nothing by causing political instability in North Korea
2) It occured inside the embassy
3) The Chinese internet censorship was reactionary in nature, the posts were being taken down not initially blocked (which if they were going to do something, they would do their best to keep it silent)
So since it alledgely occured inside the embassy, it would indicate a North Korean operation, which again, does not seem likely since it occured inside China. Firstly, this would cause the Chinese to lose face (something which is actually rather important culturally). Face has actually been the root of some of the political instability I might add (it really is that important...and individually, tell someone in China that you love China more than Australia and they light up). Following this, the North Koreans would have political instability, and also have rocky relations with their only ally. Spells certain doom for PRK!
If an assassination attempt was to occur from the North Koreans, it would occur in North Korea. Following similar messages in January about Kim Jong-Un being overthrown circling in the same fashion, this is definately someone's imagination running away with them ("zomg I see so many cars, someone must have died...omg it must be the president" me personally I would have gone for alien coverup but meh
)
you're assuming Norks would only kill Kim Jong Un for political reasons
maybe he tried that "Last Emperor" shit too often
"Hee hee hee! HEY when I run out, you gotta bow! Cmon its funny! Hehehe!"
Also I have no idea why China props up Norks. If North Korea collapsed it would join South Korea as province. If Korea were united under South Korea, Seoul would go to USA and say "Umm thanks now you can go away" and then build a oil pipeline from the Chinese border to Pusan. Japan also would like us to go away. Phillipines already told us to go away. And without that mission of defending South Korea, Congress would look to cut the US military. So if the Chinese shoved on North Korea they might be able to have a weaker US navy and air force staging not closer than Guam instead of from South Korea and Japan. And they could ship Xinjiang petroleum to a G8 nation that imports 99% of its oil, within 24 hours of pumping it.
and finally if they care about face, use that, go to their foriegn office and say your ambassador wants some bacon and its embarrassing but they don't seem to have any for sale in the city and he's making jokes about it, ask them to tell you where to buy it. they may follow you so you might have to buy extra and actually enter your embassy and ask to speak to an officer to get away from Chinese officials, but you can explain to him privately and he'll back you up and probably he wil be glad to get some bacon.
LOL @ the bacon tactics.
