Personal opinion is that 17 misjudged 03....sometimes the bigger fam with better eco doesn't have good enough position to actually win. Now, 17 may not lose much in this...but I do see us clearing them from the bottom of s4 and basically ruining any plans they might have had for that area. That in itself is a loss

Actually, I saw the messages and you were pretty funny! Asking for 150 planets to 'protect our allies' backed up by shallow threads of clearing us from a corner of a sector, meaning way less than 150 planets? It was a good laugh, the best part is that you almost seemed convinced that we might actually take that 'deal'! So in the end you nap our allies and war us instead.. So our allies end up protected, and we risk fewer planets than you were trying to negotiate for!

The NAP offer i sent to 17 was merely meant to either get them to take a shit offer or to fight us. I knew it would be either one and I was fine with it.

Fact is if my fam does not fight 17 then we have to deal with either 10, 04/05, or 11/01. 04/05 we might could handle in a 1v1 situation but not double teamed. The others, well they dwarf our eco pretty badly...

So, in my mind I need a war to keep other fams off me...17 fits that for a few reason:

1. We stand a better shot when fighting them
2. I dont mind losing to 17 where I would to the others

So shutup and fight
