Being the best banker involves alot more than making the most. No point having a banker that makes 50mill a tick and logs on once a month.

I would say best banker is not someone who makes the most, but someone who sends the most aid, and loses the least amount of planets.
A banker making 10mil, and aiding 80mil everyday is not the best banker, if a banker making 9mil aids 90mil everyday.

Being the best banker is to keep a perfect combination of aid compared to self growth, together with applying the best banking ratios, best amount of science investments to give optimal income given your available resources, and at the same time contribute by being fast and eager on taking planets off attackers, and doing retakes.

Flashy excelled at all of these, but I do know that several others did too, hence my vote smile

In my book, a good banker also knows what the family has and what it needs, organizes the familys (or teams) economy to keep that work off the attacker (leader), helps out new players, does not planet/aid hog smile.

Sending a lot of aid does not make you a great banker. Knowing when to send aid and being able to send aid does (sending 50 mil a day when your income is 3 mil when the fam is in save mode [not fam bank, Im talking individual like most families in pinwheel] does not make you good. Upkeeping a ridiculously large amount of fleet, even on an attacker, when there is no need does not make you good either smile). Sending a ton and not growing at all yourself does not make you good. On the other hand, keeping everything you make and asking for more does not make you good.


Its basically as Keerb said. All about balance smile.

There were maybe 5-7 bankers this round in PW who could pull off half of that, even in their best rounds (not saying Im one of them smile)
