With RisingDown as their charismatic puppet leader and Lee calling the shots from the shadows, together with an overall amazing team (both in activity and experience), this fam was bound to do well. So far, they haven't disappointed. After their great start, they are maintaining top notch infra that no other fam in the gal compares to. Who would have expected anything else? And hey, I'm not even being biased about my own fam!
Having Lee, Snailex and RD attacking, their attacking squad should be called solid at the very least. I don't see this fam slipping down any time soon, and they will most likely stay in control for the rest of the round. Seems like Lee is getting his 3rd round win in a row.

Decent infra gets them 2nd place in nw, runner's up to 64 alone. They have been performing great so far, getting a nice lead in infra on the 3rd ranked fam. Their line-up (according to last pvc, of which i'll be using all the line-ups) is decent, although there may be some conflicts regarding greed in this fam, as well as AA going inactive, which he has been known to do.
AA's unreliable activity may spell doom for this fam if they rely to heavily on him, and as it's looking now he'll be their leader and main attacker. So... let's just hope for you guys that AA does not go inactive this round!

These guys are awfully planet fat, their infra really is not that good. What is keeping their nw high is the huge amounts of planets these guys are expoing: with planets substracted they'd rank 5th in the gal. They have been planet fat from the start, and it will hurt them in the long run as they'll just be stuck with empty space and less income. I really do not approve of this strat: this is not SDSS where you get 8 expos and it is viable expo them all first tick, you guys actually had to pay for them.
Aside from their planet-fatness, they seem to be lead by IC Death. ICD is known to contend for the first so many weeks or even just days, just to fall in the ranks subsequently (The IC Death curse). Now, I'd like to give ICD the benifit of the doubt and say it won't happen this time, but to be honest I'm not impressed by their lineup either: a bunch of people i've never heard of (so either they're new or returning vets, neither of them a good thing 90% of the time) and Jets, who is also known to go inactive.
If these guys are really lucky and have a lot of other fams mess up they may make 3rd place. I don't see it happening though and see them hovering around 6th place later in the round. That is, if they don't fall victim to... THE CURSE.

The Nerd Squad they call themselves... well at least they know how to run a decent infra. Being low on planets and still ranked this high in nw deserves an applause. They will probably be doing some nice jumps in the close future, and I see them overtaking 58 NW-wise soon. Fam lineup doesn't look too impressive though, and if that is Serenity in there you can count on this fam being hunted down just for that sole fact.
However, if they do manage to hide Serenity's presence or if that is not Serenity, they may still be able to maintain a nice rank towards EoR if they just keep this infra going.

Another one of those high ranked planet fat fams. Line up is good though, they have some fire power to say the least with Spam in there. Is that Star99 attacking? Never seen him attacking before, but I heard he has some spare time. Never to late to learn they say 
. The fact that Luster is in this fam does not quite help them though, with people hating him and all.
I must say I do like that fake pax, that is a very creative name to give to your race!

Previous PvC did not contain any info on their line up, but from the looks of it, at the very least they have Fallen Angel, Wiwi, Glue (=superbad? or is that Templare, I forget), Nightwish, and I think I've seen that Smokey name before. Infra is good, they're slightly low on planets but expect them to jump up in the ranks soon.
If the few unknowns in their fam aren't extremely bad, this fam should perform well this round and end up with a top 5 finish. Definitely a fam to look out for at the very least.

2 words to describe this fam: Planet fat! Infra is not good at all. Their line up is... ok. Had it not been for Matthang being in there, it would have been awesome though. If they do not pick up slack soon, they will be farming material. However I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say they will pick up slack somewhat.
It will not be an easy ride for Airwing & co from hereon forward though. I have my doubts with Alundra attacking (he's a nice guy, just not that good of an attacker), although he is eager to learn so this should be a round for him to prove himself. Matthang will just waste his fleet if he gets any, so it'll be in their best interest not to jump him as much as possible.

A good fam I expected to do better, they fell a bit behind, but do have the lineup that can force a turnaround. Lately they've been doing some nice jumps, so they should be back in the race soon. With Mizzle (having gone too many rounds without doing something stupid, no matter how hard he tries, and therefore having lost his Ubern00blet tag) and Spyro attacking, that could mean some difficulties for other fams who come into conflict with this one, however they are not breakable.

Another fam that has disappointed me so far. Their lineup is above average and I thought Onion would've been able to keep his fam in check, but their start wasn't optimal and they've just been slipping in the ranks since then. Onion asked himself whether his fam would be motivated enough, so far the answer has been no. If Onion doesn't kick his family members' asses and makes them get to work soon, someone else will do it for him and they will not like it.

Bad luck for WL, he's taken over leadership in a fam that is, as the fam name says, inactive. Their biggest guy is SS judging by his race, and I don't blame him as no one else in the fam seems to be able to keep up with his pace.
I'll just have to agree with what the previous PvC said: they are farming material.
