"Attention!"

A number of elves jumped when the toy soldier commander shouted the order. It had been had been a very good night for a town. As magically as the last time, a line of six toy soldiers stood motionless in front of the brick wall. They just looked like life-sized versions of the plastic toys every little boy has, except these ones moved... and these ones had real amunition.

"Guns at the ready! Aim at Alchoran!" came the next order.

"Wait, stop! I change my vote to Torqez!" Jets shouted out from the crowd.

"Good job! With only 53 seconds to spare!" the commander barked back as he looked at Torqez standing before the brick wall. He seemed to be fidgeting with something behind his back.

"As I keep telling you, you've got the wrong elf!" Torqez complained but the commander was having none of it. He shouted "FIRE" and Torqez had no chance. As the torrent of bullets came raining down on him, a bright red Santa's hat fell onto the newly formed snow on the ground.

"You've killed Santa!" someone from the crowd screamed in horror.

The Grinch watched the scene unfold with glee. Less than 24 hours until Christmas day and Santa, the nice elf, was dead. Things couldn't have gone more to plan.

Christmas was falling apart around him and he was, at last, very happy.

It had just started to get dark and xara was standing at the giant christmas tree admiring the glimmer of the bright lights. It had always amazed her how everyone got together at Christmas. A small tear formed in the corner of her eye and trickled down her cheek. Lapland had lynched Santa Claus and this year's Christmas was going to be thrown into turmoil as a result. She closed her eyes as the imagined the millions of children around the world waking up in the morning without any presents.

"Now now dear, no need to cry" came a croaky voice behind her.

xara span around to find she was joined by a wrinkled old man. He was dressed in a tattered brown suit and bent over a walking stick. "It all seems to be falling apart! she sobbed.

"I know, I'm the happiest I've felt in years" Scrooge said as he lifted his head a little.

xara only had time to glance towards him in surprise as he plunged a knife directly into her back. She screamed out in pain and lurched forward towards the tree, desperately trying to get away from the crazy demented man. He cackled in response as he watched the innocent nice elf flail helplessly in front of him.

KT and Wendy watched this assault from behind the christmas tree with added interest. They had orders from the Grinch to take out Jets immediately but after witnessing him approach xara and then withdraw his knife, they were keen to see how the drama unfolded. KT then gave the nod to Wendy who proceeded with the previously arranged plan.

Jets continued watching as xara grabbed onto the tree's branches in an attempt to escape from him. He gripped onto the knife in his hand and followed her but looked up when he heard the rustling of branches and the snapping of wood. He dropped the knife in a frantic move to turn around with his walking stick and get away in the opposite direction as the giant christmas tree started to crash down. xara also peered towards the tree and had no chance as a huge crashing sound echoed throughout Lapland. In a flash, the great landmark which stoof for all things christmas had suddently been removed. Amonst the rubble of fairy lights and broken tree decorations, lay the crushed bodies of xara and Jets.

Meanwhile the Grinch was following his own carefully executed plan.

As one of the only town residents alive, Alchoran rushed out of his cabin to investigate where the loud crashing has originated from. He didn't get far as he was immediately greeted by Genesis.

"What are you doing Gen?" Alch asked as Genesis reached into his bag and threw a bottle shaped present as him. "Wtf? That was for my brother!" He protested as he recognised the present as the one he had bought for his family. The Grinch reached into his bag again and took out a couple of bottles. This time one hit the jackpot, smashing into Alchoran's head and causing him to fall onto the ground. Genesis smashed another bottle on the side of the cabin and smiled as he walked towards Alch with the jagged glass outstretched.

A moment later and the three surviving naughty elves gathered at fallen christmas tree. Dead bodies were littered around the village square and blood had tainted the pure white snow to an evil red colour. Genesis, the Grinch, threw his bloody broken bottle to the ground and highfived KT and Wendy in celebration!

The blue, green and gold christmas lights surrounding the tree flickered as they lost their power supply and switched off, plunging the square into and eerie darkness. With Santa and the nice elves dead, Christmas was well and truly over this year.

Haha, well that was a quick one! Bit of luck for the mafia with all the town's special roles dying in the first two days. Good job though.
