Topic: Watching GOP candidates debates
I was watching a debate on youtube from June this year, and must say i found it very interesting.
Anyone else agree?
A few thought i got while watching was as follows:
Mitt Romney; pretty smooth talker, decent responses, a little talkative tho
Michele Bachman; it all seemed very rehersed, and she sounds like all rethorics and little substance behind it
Herman Cain; sounds like a doer more than a talker, and could in that aspect be what america needs, althou being president also comes with a certain degree of classyenss and speech, and he does not seem up for it
Ron Santori; unable to keep it short, and seems without any depth.
Rick Perry; has the charismatic Texan charm and christian values that entices alot of americans, and can probably also rack up a few votes on his patriotism, he might however be too far out on the conservative and religious right even for America, doubt they want yet another Bush to be honest.
Ron Paul: Intelligent and consistent, his ideas are radical, probably too radical, but i would love to see him get into office, i think he could be just what US needs to regain some balance and growth. His answers are intelectual and correct, and even thou everyone is out to get him he hardly ever say things that comes back to bite him. I dont see him ever being elected as the candidate, but i would love to see it happen!
