in steps Scorp;) the down fall in ic is the graphics and change of times.. look at MW3 and other games.. just a  different era.. nothing stays the same and all things have a end and beginning.. communiity is wut keeps IC going.. not to mention a bunch of us have grown up together through this game

I agree with Scorp. IC "the game" is kinda crap. But the forums and chat is why most of us continue to play. I smh when I think that I've known some of you since I was 15 or 16 years old. I'm 26 now lol

Scorp is right.
I've been here since the beginning. This game needs a serious overhaul not just a few updates here and there. I really don't have time and shouldn't be playing at all let alone leading. The only reason I came back was old friends. The only reason im still here is old and new friends. Something needs to be done. Its the same thing over and over and over again. Way too repetitive.....its only a matter of time now. Unless someone takes action.

scorp 13 yrs is a bit off as alpha dates back to 2000 ,but I know he has been around a super long time.

Also master accounts get lost sometimes. I know i never was able to recover my original one.

Also the game could use some serious updates ,but I have to say the mods are helping a bit with changes to the galaxy now (for example the no attacks for 2 weeks)

Many of us have dreams of the old days and in our mind is the only place they will live. When top 20 ranked fam meant something now a top 10 finish isnt really worth anything with only 16-20 fams in a galaxy.

I dont really have a solution and everyone wouldnt agree anyway.

this 2 week no attacking system was a big flaw. it turned the gal into a farming round. those who had a good start actually made it through, the other families just get raped to crap after and after and after again. No possibility to clear shares, no option of keeping big families away.

I thaught it was cool at first (and actually still do). Bur for smaller families, well they just might as well not play at all...

It's easy to say the game should change, it's difficult to find the right changes and let it stay IC. People have to still identify with it.

If you have ideas, we have a complete section for it.

Disagree. Tthere is probably 10x more fighting this round than there was last round. The 2 weeks no attacking was a great idea. Smaller fams will always get killed. Why? Because they are smaller families. They have no activity, no coordination and they don't draft well or at all. It'll always be the same story.

lol, the 2 week no attack idea was garbage.  The smaller families will always get targetted yes but this round specifically it made it so all the top families had position on eachother and quickly fought at 2 week mark, napped and left 4-5 families to be targetted by multiple alliances that were much bigger than those families.   

If there were no allies, the 2 week no attack could work much better but with the current setup it definately was garbage.

That question seems like its retorical to you. but no not my best farming round. after the 2 week mark i had to immediatley take on Smurfs and the garden equipement fam. After that all went bananas, imo there could have been much more diplomacy in the 2 week no atack time. but fams didnt, thats a lack on their behalve.

i havent seen so much atacking and so less nw difference in a while. you will always have weaker fams, and if they dont do a great deal on diplomacy they get bashed. But a small family can do quiet well, cant remember the fam number but i believe genesis was in it last round. They napped the whole galaxy, and only had 4 active players.

back in the day you also had small fams, but since ya had far more fams and 20 players per fam the actually farming didnt notice to you?

the game had alot of aspects, tri alliances(which was great!) alliance broken and allies changed. that was back stabbing ugleh, but it happend. Ppl lie, cheat and decieve to win. Bashing a smaller player is not nice, but if you cant stick up for your self its gonna be a harsh game for ya.

Yes but the part that gives those smaller families the fighting chance is that it takes longer for the larger families to gain position and be at peace with eachother allowing them to get their areas setup and clear larger threats in expo phase before they can get setup and use superior economy to over power them.  This round's setup did not only leave them fighting against a top family, it left them fighting like 4 top families at a time  because of the scarcity of targets and all those bigger families were able to move there peacefully in that time frame.  People in the 10/17, 20/15, 21/22 alliances for the most part won't see the other side of it unless you are like me but I bet if you asked the people from families like 18,25,14,12 especially they saw exactly what I am talking about.
