Lets look at this from another angel shall we ?
What is the problem with IC right now ?
We got to small gals and to few players !
am I correct or not ?
If I am correct this is what need to happen.
we need to find out what the players LIKE in ic.
Form up 2 gals to begin with that suits 2 groups as good as possible.
As if we made only ONE gal to many would leave the game the 2 gal solution is the best one I can think off.
One "old style" gal with drafts and stuff.... (MW) ???
one "modern" gal with few drafts and some of the recent changes to the game left in place. (Andro) ???
Start to put in some money for comercials.
Start some competitions in the game wich gives vips as prices.
Reshape the tutor system for virgo so that ppl learn a lot more while in virgo then they do now.
As I come across ppl who have finished virgo without learning jack.
Mybe connect leadership of a fam with a tutorship or some other method.....
Once these 2 gals are flodded with players more gals can be started do these 2 gals need to be prio1 to ensure there is inuff players in the game as a hole.

As the players becomes more and more active and fams are filled all round and players start to complain they cant find spots not even if they random its time to either boost fam nr in the 2 gals OR setup another gal.
But as I said these 2 gals should come before other gals as they are supposed to DRAW players to ic and keep em playing also.

old style means no legal drafting, illegal drafting and regular crashes of a month 
i would like to see the merger happen but create it like the ic challenge.
take everyone and put them in the families they want to be in and let us have a all out rd.
set it up so you are permanently allied to 2 random fams before bor.
Talic:
Old style mean same rules as round 8-10.
wich was Drafting but we might need some new rules both when it comes to cheating.
And when it comes to making the game more even between big and small.
why do i get the feeling that gekko has trouble making friends?
Hmm, well I think I'll sit back, watch as somehow 99% of IC agrees to this, and nothing happens.
Sounds like a good idea but can't be bothered to actually write my name on the list, but just know it is there 
Gekko is great, he is one of the few that speak his mind and is mostly right 
though he sucks at CS
This Idea is Amazing, already casted my vote, but this will give IC a new feel, a HUGE galaxy full of players, more enemys than ever and many more systems to be contested.
