Re: How Chris Balsz left the Tea Party...

"No" is more than just a word,  saying "No" is an action.

No, I will not work to build up the Republican party.

And there it is. Chris left the Tea Party

Everything bad in the economy is now Obama's fault. Every job lost, all the debt, all the lost retirement funds. All Obama. Are you happy now? We all get to blame Obama!

Re: How Chris Balsz left the Tea Party...

Honestly, I understand yell's stand on this one. Republicans don't do their job, so don't encourage them to do it even further by saying: "its not ok, please continue". We need a serious alternative for the dems, even most dems agree to that.

Same counts for the WH-candidates.
...most of reps new candidates for president are -ironically- an inspiration for birth control. Their chances are zero so Obama can do as he pleases. Compare any of those candidates to Eisenhower or Reagan.

And yet that ignores the Conservative gains the Tea party made

the conservative gains of the Tea Party will be best realized by supplanting the Republican party and its entrenched machinery for a sincere reform organization.

Yells post counts for me too. My only hope is tea party split up, and replaces the reps, even if that means one lost election. Right now you loose by default.

Re: How Chris Balsz left the Tea Party...

This is my last comment on the matter.

Chris is part of the 10% who are so frustrated they wont participate.

The problem is that by giving up they have conceded the fight.

In the case of Chris the party is not on the correct path, therefore he cannot be a part of the party. However without him there is no chance for the party to get on the correct track. It is a self fulfilling prophecy.

Then we have those who say let the Republican Party fragment and die.

The problem is we have seen what the Democrats will do with a majority that lasts two years. Think of an eight year period where they can split votes between two groups for their advantage. That damage will not be recoverable.

I am fighting Rino's and Liberals. I am working with those who are doing the same. When offered a chance to purify the party Chris says no because the party is not pure.

His contradiction is impossible to fix. So he will always be angry, always be frustrated, always handicap his own desires.

When Dede was nominated by Republican liberals in New York I did not fund her, I funded the Conservative Scott Brown.

I put my actions behind my words.

I bitch about the situation, but I also take action against it. I offered Chris a real chance to make a real difference. Not as just any ole supporter of Conservative causes, but as a maker and mover.

I am saddened by this, as Chris is the sort we need as a Senator, and where others have stepped up, and continue, such as Mark Levin... Chris does his little cry on the side.

All mankind is divided into three classes: those that are immovable (Chris), those that are movable, and those that move (Me) -Benjamin Franklin, U.S. statesman, author, and scientist

The greatest [calamity] which could befall [us would be] submission to a government of unlimited powers -Thomas Jefferson, 3rd U.S. President - Chris is Submitting

Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must, like men, undergo the fatigue of supporting it -Thomas Paine, British radical, pamphleteer, and intellectual - But Chris is already tired of the fight.

Lead, follow, or get out of the way -Thomas Paine, British radical, pamphleteer, and intellectual - Chris chose not to lead... nor follow...

We improve ourselves by victories over ourself. There must be contests, and you must win -Edward Gibbon, English historian and MP   - Chris never even got into the game

When bad men combine, the good must associate else they will fall one by one, an unpitied sacrifice in a contemptible struggle -Edmund Burke, British author, philospher, and political theorist - Chris is letting us all fail.

My final retort

All that is essential for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing -Edmund Burke, British author, philospher, and political theorist

Keep doing nothing Chris, keep doing nothing

Somehow you Republicans don't realize that you are declaring your total and irreversible defeat is at hand.  So, if Obama wins in 2012 you'll pack it in and emigrate from the US, because we can't come back?

The other problem is that you insist, without any reason, that either we serve the Republican party or we do "nothing" to counter the democrats.  I don't think opposition to the Democrats needs the Republicans at all.  At all.  For anything.  Money, publicity, winning elections, we can get all that done without the dreck of the Republican Party leadership, which always greets a setback with a craven compromise.

Why waste 30 years serving lousy Republicans, boosting Republican numbers so their seniority gets them chairmanships, so you can try to outlast the bastards and turn around and do it our way?  Bulldoze the muthas.

Would you carve a turkey with a spoon?  If you said "This is bullshit, get me a knife" are you a quitter?

In the fight against the destruction of the independent, limited federal government into a limitless unitary government, the Republican party is a spoon.  We need a better instrument.   I know in time you'll realize it, and I'm sorry it will take you longer to see you are wasting your time taking orders from our opponents.

I do not say serve us. I say change this party to meet your views. Defeat the virus with me... be a champion. Slice and Dice (Proverbially) away the cancer. Go all ballistic on the Rinos with *euphemism* your 50 cal sniper rifle and take the ivory home for a display.

I never ever would tell you to roll over and play dead. No... I was offering you a chance to fight that poison at a level few if any could ever get, and a chance to do what our Fore Fathers did without the violence part...
