why does so many want 20 member families.they say less inactivity ,but what your doing is seperating the top from the rest so easy.

at 12 member families 9 member fams or higher really can compete on same level.

20 member fam you looking at 15 member fams competting. talent won't be spread as much as there is 20 people per fam.

20 per is way to much imho. and tri alliances. piggy this isn't 4-5 yr's ago. One top trialliance will pwn the gal round over boring. 1 ally is better. choose wisly many pairs of fams with a chance to win vs 3-4 tri alliances maybe. usally 2 great tri alliances. 1 ok one and 1 distant 4th tri. Just a real bad idea.

i tend to agree with jets 10-12 man fams with 3-4 vip/draft total depending on size. or no drafting which would be fun smile

45 families = 15 tris....
talent will be more concentrated in a round with more players and less families than more families and less players

how can you say that 1 top tri will win... how do you know they will be top..
this is random after all..

perhaps some are inactive
but if we were to create this galaxy with all these people
people would get excited maybe and start playing again

Your arguments about full fams therefore no small fams etc dont really apply because yes ic has 1k players, but how many are actually 'active'

Its quite common to find 20 player fams with only 3 people actually actively playing wink

Though NOT everyone bothers to read forums.

Im asking the mods if its possible to link a vote in the HQ of everyone in MW/Andro and even PW.

Imo 20 players per family its too big, very big, its best if we stick to 12 or 15 players families.

Ive played with 15-12 so much i can only see a family with 12 max  really.

4-5 bankers , 2-3 attackers , 1-2 resourcers + 1-2 slackers:D

Its been too long since we had 20 player families...
I loved how there were like 20+ people once on mIRC
perhaps we should make it mandatory too yikes
family channels that will have 10 players+
And tri channels that will have 30 players +
mIRC will be revived again >_<

I like the status quo... it looks good, game play seems fine to me... i see competition I see activity I see fun... so why are we trying to screw it up?

When you change the game as much as have happend sence lets say round10.

Then we have had 20 member fams and tris.
25 planets a system.
9 sector gals.

Thiese surcomstances gives tons of opertunities when it comes to making strats.

3vs1 core assaults !
Massdeportal strat followed by raids of tris.
tri hit 1 by 1 against hostile tri. !
Chicken run strat !

3 small fams could if doing focused efforts waste huge fams with the aid of these and other strats.
All these opertunities are now gonne.

In other words the game is a lot more boring nowdays then it used to be.
ppl who love strategy cant do near as much in the game as we used to.
So make the game as deversified as possible to attract ppl who love strategy once more.

+ an ending PW, about 200 players MAX. That's 820 players MAX. And count an average of 30-40 utterly inactive noobs per gal (MINIMUM) which gives a total of some 700 players. We have the opinion of aaround one fifth of that if u count the amount of people that signed the petition. That's already quite decent in fact. Frankly, I think there may be 600 active players left in IC.
