Topic: Presenting the Sentinel tag

Small Networth players invanding other families' cores has been a strategy widely used in IC. There was no way to counter it unless you dropped your own players' Networth to clear the enemy, which sometimes wasn't at all possible.

In order to fix this apparent gap in gameplay, we have come up with a brand new tag: the Sentinel.


This tag will have many specific characteristics, as follows:


- Wearer is immune to 35% NW player rule; he will not be immune to the 35% family NW rule

- Wearer will have his attack bonus modified to -50% regardless of his race bonus; there will be no defense penalty

- Tag only removes restrictions when attacking families you have declared war upon

- Player must wear the tag for a minimum of 6 hours

Keep in mind you will need to have war declared before you can target a specific family.

Also notice that your attack bonus penalty is not restricted to that family. It will affect ALL attacks made by the player wearing the tag.

The attack bonus penalty means that race bonus, military bonus and No Fear will not have any affect while wearing the Sentinel tag.

As you may have noticed, at this time you can have multiple players holding the Sentinel tag in your family. This is a flaw, as you're meant to have only one Sentinel at any one time, and it will be corrected as soon as possible.

All Sentinel tags have been removed to prevent families from having multiple sentinels.

Leaders may remark one player in their family with the Sentinel tag.
