it depends really on the networth,  in mw if you look at the 6th top fam and the 15th top fam, that would be a fair fight (excluding allies), that being said thats usually considered a little lame but it happens, it also depends if they are just clearing shares and core, or if they are raiding and just taking your planets.  If you share a system with them, they may be concerned that since your a "weaker" fam, another strong fam may take your planets and therefore be closer to them putting them at a disadvantage.  It generally depends on the situation, but if their leader was ousted for not agreeing with it, then yeah that seems shitty to me.

no one ever sticks with a war till EOR mate trust me and if they are bigger then u they prob just carry on growing and eventually outgrow u so u dont really cause them much greif i mean im personally killing of a small fam for NAP breaking and all im doing is blowing all there planets up so they cant retake and eventually they be dead....each attack costs me no more then 3 morale and i have a 10 morale gain each tick so wont take me long till there dead...they can always stop attacking me and then ill no longer be able to attack them this will be your choice i guess but yes all depends on NW as u may not be much smaller then them...
